Beautiful Beaches Hannah and Kieren. I really bet you were shattered! Most annoying. I hat those masks! Your going to one of my favorite stomping grounds. THE GRAMPIANS NATIONAL PARK yeah! Awe, those pink lakes are pretty. I'm positive I would of had to sit it out as we did in our lockdown over week ago. Luckily for us we were out after a week and the planned holiday to Bright, Beechworth and MT BUFFALO went ahead. We have just returned from our adventure. Wow.. 20 is really such a small number for Covid cases in comparison to what we have here in the U.S. but I definitely understand the logic for the lockdown. Sorry y'all had to change your plans so fast! Also, love the policy that you have to stop if you see something cool on the side of the road. When traveling, it's so important to make sure you take the time to see all of the unique things along the road. Great pink lake footage, guys! 👍🏼
In Australia, the trigger for a lockdown is a case of community (aka "unknown") transmission. But as it turned out, there was no community transmission, someone lied to contact tracers (due to a shady employment situation) and the lockdown ended after just 5 days. But such diligence has been worth it - retail and hospitality premises are full of patrons, no one needs to wear masks etc, and there have been zero COVID deaths in the last 11 months (4 deaths total).
It is a extremely small number but quite a big deal heal. Obviously quite proactive in how to prevent community transmission! It was soo fast but we were able to get our heads around it and at least embrace the situation 🙌
You guys are such good storytellers! You guys have done so many cool things from seeing wild life to wineries and exploring gorgeous beaches and glamping. We really respect your decision. Excited to continue to watch more of your videos and follow along on your adventures!

Thanks Rings! to be honest this was such a choppy episode when we looked at it and knew we had to throw in alot of voice overs! 😅 But least everyone is up to where we are at, last thing we wanted was to freak out people thinking there was a outbreak now which this happened back in NOV. So its a type of algae that when the sun hits it produces a red pigment making it look pink! quite amazing scenes! we think we made the right decision too. Yeah, our government are very strict. I like to think the public understand the reason. If we didn't repatriate people we would be clear of COVID haha. Yeah that really is sad what's happened in the US😥... we are lucky here in Australia as we got alot of room for only 25 million people

We are fine, unfortunately struggling with life commitments and bit exhausted mentally with creativity. We didnt want to deliver anything sub par and didnt want to burn ourselves out.
