Every year, started from the 2nd season, "Simpsons" release a special episode for the All Saints' Day called "Treehouse of Horror". These episodes are usually much more cruel than the other, and the action takes place in the horror, science fiction or supernatural atmosphere. I tried to show you all the references in this episodes (from the 13th to the 17th season) to the famous films and cartoons (sometimes TV series) that i managed to find, as a tribute to the cinema.

Some of them are really forced...
4:14 AAAAAAAGGH!!!!
Like you
2:28 Yes, the original pilot episode of Family Guy premiered back on December 20, 1998.
Apu was a great way to end the video. Sad to see him go....
S13E01 can't be LOTR: The Two Towers (2002), because the episode was first aired in 2001.
Oh
3:35 pretty sure the Grim Reaper was a reference to Monty Python's Meaning of Life, not family guy
You wrong it is
Actually I think the Homer Simpson as Death big is based off of a book called "On a Pale Horse" where a man who accidentally kills the reaper ends up becoming the next Death. The simpson's episode even has a scene where Homer encounters an old man who has had a run-in with the previous death - just like in the book. They even exchange similar dialogue
It's also a reference to The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen.
My favorite movies in part 3. 0:31 and
7:39 Star Wars Franchise (1999, 2002, 2005, 1977, 1980, 1983, 2015, 2017 and

and 2011), 1:44 Lord of the Rings franchise (2001, 2002, 2003), 1:55 Fantasia

franchise (1994, 1995 and 2009), 6:53 Artificial Intelligence (2001).
1:04 that's not a The shining reference, there's another whole episode making references to that movie, even the whole family gets frosted in the snow at the end.
0:50 prevert mod 😂😂😂😂😂😍😍😍😍😍
4:08 Homer looks like the spirit of christmas future from a christmas carol.
1:12 This part made me laugh.

How dare you accuse The Simpsons of paying tribute to family guy?
ha gadi ha
In House of Wacks, there was a robot that looked like The Iron Giant.
Too many of these are BS, Homer hitting an axe into the water heater was not an homage to the Shining, he just happened to be using an axe... they already did an homage to that exact scene in a prior Treehouse of Horror.
Good bye Apu ((((((((((((((
(((((
political correctness is a cancer
As if Fox finally to liberals
Where is Rupert Murdoch now that we really need him. :/
2:31 Easter egg lol
When I saw the Simpsons and Star Wars I was about to laugh 😂😂😂😂

I think that in 3:48 it's a Scooby Doo reference, rather than Alice in wonderland. But, who knows. :-)
Alice in wonderland (1951)....Scooby Doo (1969)

5:49 I've been thinking this is a parody of Stien's death scene in "Resurrection of the Daleks" but it might be a coincidence.

If Disney's gonna distribute Family Guy, why not do it under an alias Buena Vista Television?
3:43-3:51😂

Wow
Ehh I always thought the time clock episode was a reference to that British show about a kid who used his magic watch to save people
I think it could be either. That show was called Bernard's Watch
LANE

Apoo D2 ?
Adiós a Apu.
3:52 looks like the tables have turned...The Simpsons actually stole a joke from Family Guy.
since when is the Death from Family Guy ?
@@aylinturan2355 it was because the simpsons episode really was basically copy of the family guy video
A bunch of these are on the nose and a bunch of them are transitional scenes with vague comparisons that make no sense,
Tribute. Ripped off. It's all good.
This is good but some go to other people's references, for example I don't think they got that future predicting thing from That's So Raven (correct me if i'm wrong)
The tight closeups on Ned's eye and the sound effect when he has a vision are similar to the ones used for Raven's visions.
@@onikorp Oh ok. I just wasn't sure that they were referencing That's So Raven or if they both were referencing something else with the eye zoom but I don't think they are then.
💀🎃👻🍭🍫🍬
A lot of these "tributes" are really forced. One minor details doesn't count as a homage.
Hrhrhr
Some of these are just dumb
I dunno, but this video was most imagination than reality. This material wasn't good like your other videos.
Esta mal
A Family Guy episode is not 'cinema'
The word "cinema" is a short from cinematography. And TV series, animated series and cartoons are a part of cinematography.
That's why I don't see a problem in the name "Tribute To Cinema", plus, it's much easier to memorise, write and find it in search))
@@onikorp 'Cinema' is used when referring to visual representation on film, to theatrical performances, not televised programs. And especially not animated television programs
