I Find The Best Denim Jeans Under £100

- I tried on over 20 pairs of popular jeans in the last couple of weeks looking for the best denim jeans under £100. Out of all the pairs I tried, I liked 5 or 6 of them, so I thought I’d share them with you today! Some of these jeans are more fitted and some of them are more relaxed, so hopefully there will be something for everyone on this list. This is all based on my first impressions of each pair of jeans, so if you have had any bad experiences with any of the pairs, do let us know.
Just for reference, I’m 6 foot and have a 30-inch waist! I also measured my thighs as that can be useful and they are just over 22 inches.

Those All Saints jeans surprised me, they look lovely. And you're spot on about Weekday sizing, it's ridiculous. I sized down to a 27 in my Astros and they're still too big!

which is funny cause when I ordered a pair in 28/32 it fit like a 26 and I had to refund it
I bought the weekday Space, but it got looser just after a few times wear, I bought 30/30 but now it feels like 33/30 :(
Great concept for a video! I'm personally not a big fan of Levi's anymore due to the use of elastane in their denim, I find stretch jeans to be less durable and less flattering than non-stretch. Favorite denim purchase of the past few years is 2 pairs of slim fit jeans from Calvin Klein - reasonably priced (~$50 on sale, which happens constantly), true to size, sturdy, comfortable, and I love the grain of the denim and the hue of the dye. If you make another video like this I think calvin klein would be a great addition!

My recommendation would be Wrangler 13mwz original and regular fit. I have a few pairs and love the shape, I do wear them primarily with cowboy boots. Sometimes I’ll cuff them and wear Birkenstocks and wool socks and it looks great. I would be interested to see how you can style them with other types of outfits and what you think.

Up! I’m thinking to buy second hand Acne studio 1996 jeans and I’m worried about loose fit after multiple wears. I have bought second hand levis 501 and they are bit streched out compared to new pair

I used to work at AllSaints and the Curtis jeans are by far my favourite. Their trousers & chino bottoms all have really nice silhouettes to them too - hidden gem for leg wear for sure! 🏃
How’s the rest of their stuff because it was a bit hit or miss for me. I’ve found some really good bits from them recently though. I like the aesthetic
@@HarryHas All round I’d say they are pretty good for what you get. Some of the graphic pieces can sometimes feel a bit trendy although the more basic/plain pieces come off as more timeless for me - great quality and fits too. Not sure if it’s just me, but some of their pieces feel like a more affordable Our Legacy 🫶

Try some DML Jeans mate - I’ve been a Levi’s wearer for years as I have big thighs so find it difficult finding jeans to fit properly. I bought a pair of DML in the sale just to try and they are fantastic, especially for the price. I now have 7 pairs of their Jeans, utilities and chinos plus a pair of their shorts. Their fit charts are very comprehensive too so easy to find a good fit.

I buy Levi’s 505 on Levi’s secondhand for less than 50 bucks. One of the best deals. 501 button flys are fantastic price too
Love me some All Saints, they always fit well & they go on sale often!
I fine the Hugi Boss jeans are great quality and a phenominal fit. Pure cotton light weight super comfortable and fit close.
I've been REALLY enjoying a pair of selvedge Madewell jeans that I got recently. I was lucky enough to pick up a used (like new) pair on Poshmark for dirt cheap. They are a ridiculously good value. Also maybe some Everlane jeans/chinos? I've been in love with Everlane for the last year or so.
Levi’s 514 look the best on you mate, I have a few pairs of the loose work jeans from Abercrombie and they don’t seem to bellow out like yours do, mine seem to stack a bit more at the bottom though. Those 90s straight look good too. Keep the quality videos coming 👍

I found some decent pair of jeans from Everlane that fit me relatively well… I have a 28 inch waist and even then a lot of brands are too loose in the waist
514 fits you perfectly,classic . I prefer 510 slim fit for me. The rest of jeans you checked always have fitting flows & trend base. Levi’s is always true to size no matter shape, size of body ( slim to heavy ppl) However, if you collect different blue jeans , great too. I won’t pay $100 no matter what brand. They’re super rich enough & I find it over priced 🙏👍😜❤️🇨🇦

As a bigger guy who squats, I really like the Levi’s 502. It’s always best to try on in store if you can and Levi’s has student discount for 20% off!
They were good but too skinny fitting for me personally. The stretch was good in them though

Quick question regrading the wide fit A&F jeans. I also dislike when jeans bellow out at the sides as it's unflattering but I've noticed you like this look in other pairs of pants such as your Issey Miyaki pants? Just wondering what you feel the difference is? Enjoyed the video as always!
Recently got a pair of womens Calvin Klein Jeans, I believe they're the 90's loose fit ones. They were on sale for like 40$ and fit so well. Don't sleep on the womens section!
As far as jeans are concerned, one can never go wrong with a well fitting pair from Levi's.
Agree with the Abercrombie reviews! I wish I sized up one size for the A&F 90s jeans pair I bought as they have the same issue as a 501. They hug my thighs and calves which is not what I wanted out of this pair.
I do enjoy my A&F loose workwear pants, but I did initially notice that bellowing issue with the right hand side pockets. It’s become less of an issue after the first month so I wouldn’t discourage someone checking them out. There’s almost always a very generous sale going on so I’d recommend trying to get these for $50-60 off Abercrombie to try out
The problem with sizing up with jeans is the waist looks nasty. Especially when the waist stretches out and it’s already big.

I would love another one with jeans that go up to at least at 42” waist as I enjoy these videos, them go to check them out and they never come in 40” or 42” waist
Buffalo David Bitton are my favorite jeans and not a lot of people know them, you should try them
The Levi's Premium line are the only ones I'll buy now.

When they fit from COS they are great. I have a hard time finding pairs that fit me well from them these days

Got myself Levi’s once but, well, they do miss a lil bit stretch and, couldn’t fit in anymore after a year. The Uniqlo ones are a bit more flexible 😂

do you have any advice how to wash jeans? i've heard some people dont wash jeans but mine got white stains after i got caught by rain.

I have a S or M in clothing. A Weekday shirt in S is pretty much a dress for me.
My true jeans size is 28-32 but in Levis even a 30-30 is not great. The waist is too tight and they are too long.
I got 2 simple jeans at a local store. There is no brand tags in them at all. I paid €20 for each in a sale and they are great. They fit perfectly. They are comfortable.

I have. Used to wear mine from there a lot until I grew out of them. They are a little tight on me these days. Tried a couple of their loose jeans recently though and the sizing was massive!!

I found the waist on the Galaxy stretched quite a lot after only a few wears! Still, I find they fit better than Levis nowadays

I stopped shopping at Everlane for some reason. Not sure if it was the prices or what that put me off. I’ll look into them again
Would you do a video on best jeans for different body types? I’m 5’8 but I have a very long torso with short, stocky legs. Finding jeans that are high waisted and won’t make me look shorter and wider are difficult. Even 501s don’t have a high enough rise
I would just Google high rise jeans and see what’s on offer. I don’t tend to wear high rise jeans I’m afraid so I don’t know where is best for them off the top of my head

I've got a question about the space jeans from Weekday, have you felt that the black pairs have a thinner material? I've got the klean jeans in blue and black and the black pair is noticeably thinner and feels more like a chino than a jean.

We're the same height, but I wear 34L. Short torso, long legs over here. I wonder how the rule of thirds will work for me because I've always felt like showcasing more of my legs made me look lanky

While the fabric is by Kaihara, they also have a plant in Thailand, so you are not guaranteed to get Japanese made fabric, if it's something you care about.
Can you do more comparisons on designer clothing fabrics. For example some designers such as Zegna, Loro Piana, Brunello, etc have wool/cashmere polos and sweaters but are they worth the price? Or are there alternatives that are similar in quality
Those kinda brands are on another level for me. I won’t be spending that kind of money on clothing any time soon

How timely this is while I'm struggling searhing for a quality jeans.
Weekday sizing sounds like Levi's sizing on steroids. I've only had one pair of levis 501s fit properly and it was years ago, maybe 09ish? Ever since then, it's been a minefield of inconsistency for me personally. Don't know if I'd even attempt a weekday crossing, lol. I second All saints though. For jeans on sale or again the used market. They're a solid choice IMO. I am currently enjoying the distressed look as well atm, no idea why though either.
Also quite fond of the workwear style or as my grandad calls them "carpenter jeans/trousers" ha ha ha. Most of my current jeans wardrobe probably isn't under 100 pounds/euro/dollarydoos though. I was introduced to a bunch of other brands like Orslow , Rag&Bone , Represent and john varvatos and haven't looked back.

@@HarryHas Aye, I found a bunch of japan based sellers on eBay and they always have solid deals. The last few years have really introduced me to the 2nd hand/used market on all types of clothing. Before that I was very much a fast fashion kinda guy because tbh, in a lot of places it's all you can get.
What's your take on beige/sand colored pants/trousers? Never seen you wear one and I would be really interested to know why. I think a good beige chino can be very versatile. Cheers!
I think they look good on others but these days I tend to stick to black pants or blue denim. I just prefer the way they look on me
Nice to know you could get Levi’s at L30. I am from Singapore and for the longest time, Levi’s here does not serve L30. Back in the 90s, we had them in L34, now L32 . I guess they thought Asians are much taller than the Europeans and the Americans.
Tried the Abercrombie Athetlic Fit and was disappointed in the denim quality compared to the Levi 512’s I have that are starting to get tight due to gainz, so back to the Post Office they go. Felt cheap but not surprising as the % of non-cotton was high. Waist size was well off compared to the chinos I have from them as well. Oh well. Not sure who to try next as most of the dedicated ‘muscle fit’ brands think every fit has to be spray-on. I wish AllSaints had an athletic fit!

That’s why I would always recommend spending more if you can on denim. My favourite pairs are quite a lot but they are worth it

I can never fit in 501's. I just have too much of an ass :( I go for 550's or 560's. But, I am a fan of wider fit jeans
the curtis jeans look exactly the same length as the abercrombi L30 which you say are too small/short for you. But there it is ok for you? Why?

Was it a Levi's ad campaign that carried the slogan "no two pairs are the same", or something? For years I used to live in 501's, and would consistently buy the same size. And I think it is true, each pair seemed to fit me slightly differently. Probably clever marketing; I suspect it's a common thing with many brands; inconsistency in sizing, even with the same model/size.
You may be right. It would fit for them as they are so inconsistent with their sizing

I have the same feeling with the thighs that you described, so I'll give the 514 a try and after that I'll decide.
I used to love Levis but there Denim is getting thinner and thinner, the same is with there chinos while the stretch is getting more and more. I tried on a pair just recently and they felt more like a leggings rather than a jeans, very disappointing. I guess this is better business less denim used while keeping the price up shrinkflation so to say.

Their jeans are rated very highly by a lot of people. If you can find your size and you like them then no need to look elsewhere

Nah, I’d choose them over all these jeans. This video is mainly for people who mentioned my jeans recommendations were too expensive. The quality and fit on the Acne are better than all the jeans in this video and I would recommend them over all the pairs here.
Stop recommending Weekday. They ship to Bahrain and Vietnam but the US is off-limits apparently.
You should consider wrangler cowboy cut or wrangler wrancher great quality for the price and unconventional shape..
