I remember Mr. Frosty. I had Mr. Frosty as a kid when I lived in England before moving to New Zealand in 1995. My parents forced me to give it up when we left England and moved to NZ.

It makes quite a noise! Maybe thats why they didn't buy it.
I did, however, get a Mr Peanut Butter man which you put peanuts in his top hat and peanut butter came out

It worked ie shaved ice was produced as instructed The ice grinder broke under heavy (fat boy) use . My mate had the original set and we followed every step to the tee. Also I remember as a kid wondering how the fuck the laws of physics would be broken by mr frosty. However I clearly wasnt smart enough to actually question it.
I got one, but it's handle kept popping off the back of the cylinder. Obvs I had my dad helping.

@@RetroOrBust My home Slush maker is on its way out as the blades have gone blunt from smashing ice and so this evening, I just bought myself a commercial one. Mr Frosty adverts made it look so cool though. Children around the world were conned.
@@GenaF I almost bought an original 80s Slush Puppie machine last year then my wife put her foot down! Ended up getting the cheap kids one instead 😂
