That's right we need Cooley, this is really important.
Cooley can you please stay for every content on this channel?
We want you back
Cooley is my Co-Pilot? NEW SHOW CONFIRMED?????????
FastLikeUNO It says roadshow on it
Bring back CNET on Cars!!!
jbmop I agree. I miss that show. I looked forward to it. Maybe they couldn't acquire enough cars for Cooley that he found the technology interesting enough. I think he would have a love hate relationship with the new ranger over velar for example. Or the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo.
NOT EVERYONE HAS A CROWN VIC to fit all that COOLEY! lol Good Video. Great tips
CarterBurtonMotorsportsDotCom I agree, I was looking to take a road trip later this year but since I have a small trunk. I’m going to get a roof box, of course that’s going to require me to get a roof rack and what not but it was a planned purchase. Now I won’t have to have my trunk stuffed full of emergency items
How do I get that bumper sticker? Want to put one on my Tesla.
OMG Yes! We *need* those in stock.
I need that sticker in my life!
Never woulda' thunk of half this s***
Good information
Cnet on cars was the best car show on CZcams. This channel without the cool guy is nothing.
Also, CNET on cars was definitely the best CZcams car show. More Cooley please.
Memo to c|net: Mass produce and sell that "Cooley is my co-pilot" sticker please. All us viewers will buy 'em.
What I carry with my car at all times are a tire inflator, a first aid kit, tool kits and a spare tire that comes with the car. I would buy a jump starter and a flashlight after watching this. Thanks Cooley.
Can we please get Brian Cooley to do all videos concerning cars?? I miss this guy :(
Oh, Brian Cooley!? Automatic thumbs up.
Good to carry coolant, but the 50/50 prediluted one, not the concentrate that was put in the trunk
Yo, how can I get that bumper sticker?!?!👀👀
GIVE ME COOLEY OR GIVE ME DEATH!
8minute Cooley video....fuck yeah.
Unless you live in an area that freezes over, its much more practical to have water instead of coolant.
I live in a tropical country and unless you're filthy rich ppl don't even bother with coolant, we all use tap water instead
This guy is the American Jeremy Clarkson.......... Get him on TopGear ASAP
Some of that equipment is required in Europe on any car
Having a breaker bar with different size sockets is always a good idea.
Yay for “with Cooley”!!
I need that bumper sticker! I've always said that my "Save The Manuals" sticker is the only one I'd ever have, but I've found my exception.
I see Cooley. I click.
Both my Dodges Journey and Durango came with a rechargeable flashlight in the back. Standard.
Ansr Max your going to need it alot when your fiats breaks down
In case of an emergency, u only need four things. Macgyver doing the actual labor, his swiss army knife, his roll of expired duct tape and Cooleys entertaining voicie on the stereo
Got to love Cooley.
Tourniquets should never be made from elastic materials. You want something that is flat and doesn’t stretch. A nylon web belt is a good example.
Jonathan Pollock Hello. Someone else was in Scouts / military. Was wondering about a stick too.
I really need that "Cooley is my co-pilot" bumper sticker.
First aid kit part cracked me up 😂
Brian just makes me laugh
Thanks
cool stuff idk how important the paper towels and gloves are but everything else id say would be great to have i probably need to get a first aid kit
Damn, I need a car with larger trunk... :)
Just saw this pop up in recommended and watched. One personal note on the oil in the trunk. Its STILL a good idea and not, like he said, because you need a new engine. I was on a road trip when my valve cover gasket developed a leak (usually a minor thing) and my oil level indicator came on (level, not pressure). Thankfully my car has that because I wouldn't have thought to check the dipstick mid trip. I popped into a wal-mart on the way and bought a big bottle and just topped it off occasoinally until I got back to get it replaced.
he reminded me when i did have bad Idle air control sensor . i care it with me all the tools needed including body throttle spray just in case. in other indecent the air flow oxygen sensor with the oxygen sensor spray as well . jumper cable i always have them in my two cars . and the good people out there thank god they always around to help . in other countries overseas gas station . they care for all car services from tires to engine oil transmission oil and a mechanic shop specially on the highway and that make a lot of sens i don't know why in the U.S. things tend to be very troubling and costly problematic !!!
Go to the scrap yard find one that fits and buy a used tire you'll be fine that's what I did with my Town Car
Cooley should be one of the guest voices on Waze. I would enjoy my drive so much more!
re good air pressure gauges, are the digital better than the analog one u showed?
Should also add portable charger, although the jump starter can be used as a charger, I would recommend getting a separate smaller one. Also a nice set of cloths comes in handy. Never know if you're going to need a new set of cloths to wear. I also carry a small handy survival tool kit in my car.
The problem with those car battery jump starters is there are too many brands. It's hard to figure out which one to buy. What should we look for in choosing one of these?
Alfredo Tan Just go to Costco and get the good option - they do a very good job on quality : price. Or, look up consumer reports / lifehacker.
funny thing there soo many brands but most of them come from the same factory using the same parts (some use different shell, some would just switch the names around)... if it helps "AC Delco" and "Bosch" is known to make car batteries so choose either brand...
i personally got an AC Delco with a built in air compressor and light, its an older unit and i've had it for about 4yrs now (used it twice but not on my cars) thinking its time to get the newer lithium battery ones and get rid of the one i got...
How to survive in the walking dead 😂 Bryan i really like you man
Check the tire pressure in your spare tire otherwise you don't have a spare tire.
what if you have more then one car do we buy 2 sets?
or switch them every time?
dumb question but its a question id need an answer
I miss Cooley doing CarTech
Cooley!!!!
Feels like a lot of stuff to just carry around. But all of it is useful enough when you need it.
And a Green Book too! It's not exactly like it has gotten any safer out there in the US.
What's a Green Book?
But i like my empty trunk lol
I want the Cooley sticker!
I need one of those bumper stickers to put on my Lexus RCF
Where can I get the COOLEY sticker
We are working on it!
Roadshow Coolness
Cooley cooley Cooley
I feel that you forgot a set of electrical fuses and some light bulbs (fi they are easy to change on the car...) also keeping the old whipers in the car might come in handy... and in the summer I keep hand pump garden spray which I end up using a lot (for cleaning (the wipers, the windshield (for old bird poop), licensing plate, the lights and my hands after changing a tire) and colling (I used it to cool the breaks once or again even the windshield and the top of the car before getting in))
abramburel11 When is your car from, the 80s? Who keeps fuses in their modern cars?
Funny vid
Spare tire is now a $400 option on Cadillac
Do you think that we all love Cooley lol
I think that most Chrysler cars come with a flashlight
Don't forget emergency cash
Bring back Cnet Car Tech with Brian cooly please
Also aaa membership get the top package can tow you 200 miles extra charger for you phone just in case
Put together and sell a Road Show Emergency Kit.
Probably add in there spare medication if you take it
That’s a lot of stuff lol.
Arguably the easiest and quickest tip would be to keep you smartphone fully charged at all time.
Imagine getting stuck somewhere and your battery goes dead while you're in the middle of calling for help.
Of course, but what if there's no signal?
Where's the rocket launcher?
Inside the tool kit. You gotta assemble it first.
+Roadshow Cooley, you need a version of this specifically for Tesla's and other EV's.
David Blakley it's an electric car, there's not that much difference lol.
Total price 700 bucks
this is like adding tons of weight to the car
Don't forget to stuff your local mechanic in there, along with 6 months food and water so you only have to check on him when you recharge your jumper box.
You gotta open the trunk once every day to get some oxygen in.
Added everything and my trunk is full
I have 75% of all of these
Window breaker.
Forgot to mention a ratchet strap!
FIX THE VOLUME
I have a butt load of tools and virtually no safety equipment. I'm set. Also, your shoelaces can make good tourniquets as well, if you've got the time to unlace.
Lookin’ at your kids? That’s funny. Your kids will eat you before you can eat them, if they’re older than about 12.
Oh bother... 24pk of Beer and call it good
Walter Gramer double it up
The 1980s Mercedes first aid kit comes with a cyanide pill? What the heck....
Bo Han, I wonder if that is true.
Cooley please review your Crown Vic LTD
cooley has come from the heavens once again
Really a cyanide pill? Is he kidding?
Andrew Syracuse of course , do you think it's legal to put a highly poisonous pill in an emergency kit?
Politica1unify, lol you never know.
I don't know if he is kidding or is being serious.
Scare tactics. How much fuel is wasted over the years lugging all of that stuff around and never using it? I understand that it could save your life/make it less inconvenient when an emergency comes up, but unless you're in Wisconsin with 3,000 miles or corn or some other third world country, it's not worth it.
you do have a point but its going to make the world of difference when you're stuck in a situation when you need it, so its better to put it in your trunk and forget about it until you need to use it (its maybe 10lbs total?? so not that much weight).....
now if you do live in a busy city area you wouldn't need it until you take a trip out of the city and something was to go wrong...
Paul Ho less than one passenger’s weight
