  • "The Middle Way" is central to the Buddhist teachings. Being aware that our physical reality is an illusion projected by our minds ought not to interfere with our compassion for one another, ie even though its only happening in a dream, we must still honor the other in their path to obtaining Buddhahood (Enlightenment), even though in time, other travellers may be progressively slower and others more advanced, the middle path reminds us not to take an extreme stance on our path to enlightenment.

    Budda was saying that it didn't matter if the world was real or an illusion since it is all what we see with our senses so we can't tell the difference between a real rock we pick up and an illusionary rock because they both trigger the same senses. In the mind of the crazy old woman it didn't matter if her son was real or not because it was real in her mind and that was the only place that it mattered.

This is very much so real karma the lot very strange how we create our own realities as tests.. No escaping our own real true consciences.... We are our own gate keepers...

      @indrajeet Před 5 měsíci +1

      I think what Tripitaka is trying to say is that our concept of what is real is based on the delusion of our senses.
      When we sleep, we dont know what is real and interpret the dream world as....real.
      When awake, we only experience an unimaginably small part of our existance, we cant see, hear everything. Before the advent of tv and newspapers - we didn't even know was happening outside our town or village.
      In todays world of mass media - the truth is literally a matter of interpretation.
      What is the absolute truth that is infallible? That all things change!

    I always thought that this was all illusion, before i even heard it in Buddha or esoteric teachings. All our dreams crossing over and sometimes we meet for a reason. All of us distracted by so many things.
    If someone thinks it, then create it, and bring it into the dream.
    Imagine what an Ancient Egyptian would think of a smartphone.

      Journey to the West is a Spiritual drama, one has to understand the metaphor of these characters to decode their meaning. “Tripitaka” represents the Trinity Concept of Mind, Body and Spirit.

      It's not your PC. Mine is almost state-of-the-art and it chugged at this video. The uploader and lack of HD is notable.

      In the show the character is a boy. They cast a female actress to play him because they believed a female would better portray the innocence and purity the young boy-priest was supposed to have possessed.
