    Good video. I just started BJJ and had no idea how to fold my gi. This helped a lot.
    Also, I really appreciate your attention to video production. Good sound, green background so the gi is easy to see and focus on, good editing, and clear instruction. Awesome!! One more subscriber earned.

    You could always put your Gi in a clean trash bag. They have trash bags that smell like breeze after training so you don’t put it into your duffel bag dirty. And worry about germs staying in your bag. When you put a clean Gi in the same bag for when you train. And air out the bag when you head home. And you can always put a small Air freshener in your bag to keep it smelling good.

    Your right. I did post the pictures of it on my back along with a side view on our Instagram and twitter account. However I will keep that in mind for future videos

    I always feel weird folding my sweat drenched dogi (gi in English slang) after class. But, hey, I gotta get home lol

    I rly like the Backpack version!
    What i did is a combination of the backpack edition and the gi fold pt. 3,
    where I put the the loop part also in the middle of the Gi before i fold it in the middle. This way i only knot the gi and not the belt also. greets

    Hey I just started BJJ about 2 months ago and I got a white belt with a black patch on it, like the one on your brown belt. What is that for, and what do the stripes on your belt mean? I don't think anyone at my BBJ Club got stripes on there belts.

    • @isbjjTV
      @isbjjTV  Před 10 lety +2

      Hey thanks for your question. The black patch is where your instructor places your earned ranks (white stripes). Depending on your academy (some schools don't follow the stripes method) your instructor will place a stripe on your belt in front of the class to let you know, you are improving and one stripe closer to your next promotion. 4 Stripes on a belt, the next promotion is a belt! Congrats on joining bjj and hope to hear from you. We have a blog on our main web site as well. When you can check it out. We place a lot of good info that you might like. OSS!

    Or you could, you know, put it in a backpack. It's a neat idea, but I don't see the point.

      Are you serious , It is ingenious, I mean you can carry on your back even under the jacket, come on think twice dude that IS the point you dont need a backpack

    Step 1: go to Walmart
    Step 2: buy a cheap bag for around $10
    Step 3: put your GI and belt inside cheap bag from Walmart.
