Não, nos estamos treinando posições de judô. Judô e Jujutsu (Jiu-Jitsu) e a mesma arte, no Japão Judô e Jujutsu são sinônimos. Antes das regras olímpicas o Judô fazia muito uso de Newaza (luta de chão). Nos aprendemos o Jiu-Jitsu de Jigoro Kano ou o Judô no Brasil. Os Gracies foram em contra mão na época e resistiram o Kodokan e não aceitaram participação por causa das mudanças das regras de luta a uma regra com foco mais na luta de pé, porém hoje ainda usamos o nome Jiu-Jitsu. Inclusive todo as técnicas do grande mestre Hélio de defesa pessoal são técnicas que existe na parte de defesa pessoal no Judô que se chama de Goshin-Jutsu ou Goshin Ryu.
@@MrLuizbernardo Eu aprendi que o jiu-jitsu clássico foi adaptado por Jigoro Kano, criando o judô.
Já o Brazilian jiu-jitsu seguiu outro caminho e podemos dizer que o judô é diferente do bjj.
Algumas técnicas do bjj não podem ser aplicadas no judô, principalmente em competições.
