Mike Bettes was right though cause look what happened to Team Twistex. Tim Samaris was wicked smart and he knew how to chase tornados. Tim and Carl chased tornados for years but the El Reno tornado was different from every other tornado they chased. What I don't get is Tim and Carl was always in a big truck chasing tornados. Why did he switch to a tiny Chevy Colbalt and yet put his son in that kind of dangerous environment ? I'll never understand why he switched to a smaller vehicle. R.I.P. Yes Reed "Timmer" is excitable and at times over the top but this video demonstrates the true passion that he has with storm chasing which is helping other peopleespecially when it comes up to a wreck or house destroyed by tornado he's always willing to put the chase aside and do what's right for those impacted by the tornado.

Your saving lives Reed, you and your team. Tim Samaras ,Paul Samaras, Carl Young and Richard Henderson May be gone but they will never be forgotten. All of the chasers that do a job that terrifies 90% of the population, is a very significant sacrifice. You save lives every time you put yours at risk. I’m very grateful for that and I appreciate each and every one of you! Thank You!

this still makes me catch my breath and wipe tears from my eyes, I remember watching this live and hearing about Tim, Paul Carl.....I was an avid follower of their chases and yours which was sparked when my city springfield, MA got hit in June of 2011 and came within half a mile of my home when it crossed the ct river, and was a literal stone's throw from work. Seeing all the videos people took of it really shook me just how literally close to home it got. RIP Twistex. Keep doing the good fight to keep everybody safe with every single new finding, and allowing us to ride the wind with you guys vicariously.

If he could choose, I expect being killed doing what he loved would be ok with him, absolutely devastating for the family left behind though.
