You are killing it, keep up the great progress! 🙌
Something that got me so much enjoyment vs the amount it took to learn pre-jumping was popping to toe side and then carving through turns at speed. :)

Maybe with a downloop! 😃 Ok, it will be the next trick I’ll try to learn!

@@KitesurfingBeginner my home spot would be schellinkhout and or medemblik depending on the wind, but both spots have very choppy water.
and basically the entire western sea shore can be great, with longer waves. but it's hard to predict the winds here.

Great transitions! How difficult was it for you to learn to ride 'switch' (in your weakest direction)?

Thanks! Learning to ride switch was definitely challenging at first. It took a lot of practice, but it’s getting better! How was it for you? 😊

@@KitesurfingBeginner I've had a couple of lessons, but haven't really gone any distance switch. My lessons came with jetski support so I got comfortable taking off in one direction with a jetski following me. I could ride (in a 7 mile lagoon) till I was tired then ride back to the beach on the jetski. It was a convenient way to get some first rides but in retrospect not the best way to practice switch riding skills. I'm going to a kiting location next week and my lack of switch riding skills will present a challenge. On my channel there is a video titled 'My First Sustained Ride' if you want to see what my lessons were like. Keep up the great work!

It’s great that you had jet ski support for your early lessons! I watched your video and it looks like your favorite stance is with your left foot forward. I’m sure with more practice, your switch riding will improve. Thanks for the support and keep it up!

@@KitesurfingBeginner thanks. I'm going to Cabarete in the Dominican Republic tomorrow to meet up with friends. It's a world class kiting beach. I'm thinking about taking some lessons, but it's a bit scary for beginners there. Tons of high level kiters flying around everywhere! Thanks for the encouragement!
