Iâd love to hear your thoughts and tips on what else I can work on to keep improving.
Drop your suggestions in the comments below!
You are killing it, keep up the great progress! đ
Something that got me so much enjoyment vs the amount it took to learn pre-jumping was popping to toe side and then carving through turns at speed. :)
Maybe with a downloop! đ Ok, it will be the next trick Iâll try to learn!
@@KitesurfingBeginner nice one, especially when people are overtaking you this close or that close behind you, good way to escape those tailgaters đŹ
@@ArinGhend It's definitely very effective! đ
Love to follow your progress⊠I am still a noob!
Thanks for the support! Keep at it, we all start somewhere. What are you working on right now?
the changes of direction⊠I still stick my butt in the water! đ
what was the wind condition like? keep it up, like watching your progress, I am also still a newb..
Thanks! Wind conditions were great, about 16 knots steady. Glad youâre enjoying the progress! Bye! đ
man I wish I could ride on those great flat water spots.
try the Netherlands, waves for days.
Thanks! The flat water spots are really great. Whatâs your favorite place to ride in the Netherlands? đââïž
@@KitesurfingBeginner my home spot would be schellinkhout and or medemblik depending on the wind, but both spots have very choppy water.
and basically the entire western sea shore can be great, with longer waves. but it's hard to predict the winds here.
Excellent progress, keep it up!
Thank you! I appreciate the encouragement. Iâll keep pushing forward!
Grande buon progresso continua a portare questo contenuto, buon vento!đ€
Grazie mille! âșïž Ci metterĂČ tutto lâimpegno possibile per continuare a migliorare. Buon vento anche a te!
How the hell do you put on your footstraos so quick
Great transitions! How difficult was it for you to learn to ride 'switch' (in your weakest direction)?
Thanks! Learning to ride switch was definitely challenging at first. It took a lot of practice, but itâs getting better! How was it for you? đ
@@KitesurfingBeginner I've had a couple of lessons, but haven't really gone any distance switch. My lessons came with jetski support so I got comfortable taking off in one direction with a jetski following me. I could ride (in a 7 mile lagoon) till I was tired then ride back to the beach on the jetski. It was a convenient way to get some first rides but in retrospect not the best way to practice switch riding skills. I'm going to a kiting location next week and my lack of switch riding skills will present a challenge. On my channel there is a video titled 'My First Sustained Ride' if you want to see what my lessons were like. Keep up the great work!
Itâs great that you had jet ski support for your early lessons! I watched your video and it looks like your favorite stance is with your left foot forward. Iâm sure with more practice, your switch riding will improve. Thanks for the support and keep it up!
@@KitesurfingBeginner thanks. I'm going to Cabarete in the Dominican Republic tomorrow to meet up with friends. It's a world class kiting beach. I'm thinking about taking some lessons, but it's a bit scary for beginners there. Tons of high level kiters flying around everywhere! Thanks for the encouragement!
Super fun to follow your progress!
What are the things you're currently working on / trying to improve?
Thanks for following along! Right now, Iâm focused on getting better at riding upwind on my weaker side and learning how to jump. What about you? Any goals youâre working on?
@@KitesurfingBeginner Thats great! Looks like you've great progress so far.
I'm at the infamous waterstart with short uncontrolled rides - stage. But Ive just recently bought my own gear after 10ish hours of lessons.
Thatâs awesome! Getting your own gear is a big step. Keep practicing those waterstarts, and soon youâll be cruising with full control. Enjoy the journey! đââïž
Ciao, grande bel progresso! Anche io sto imparando. Che spot Ăš questo?
Thank You! Itâs Barricata beach! đââïž
Nice, which 360 action camera are you using? And which helmet mount do you use?
Thank You! Itâs the Insta360 One x2 mounted with a wrist band wrapped around 2 helmet holes!
Im a newb and still in the body drag one hand stuff atm but im not playing for anymore lessons too expensive i have all the safty self launching and landing stuff down i got a 2015 12m ozone reo surf kite and a 2014 naish hero 140x143 twintip im 95kg should be okay i went 1 size bigger on the kite as the board is abit smaller than recommended beginner size
