The solubility of an ionic compound is decreased by the presence of a common ion (an ion that is also present in the compound); this is known as the common-ion effect. View more lessons or practice this subject at www.khanacadem...

Everything is very clear and well understood!!
It's amazing how they conveyed the concept 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻in just first 4 min
God bless you sir
I was having trouble understanding this, thanks
Master in engineering here🇺🇸
i have a doubt that in the given example at the beginning, sir you said according to le chatlier principle the system moves towards the equilibrium. in first container there are 4 chlorine in dissociate form and 4 chlorine in precipitate form, but after the system distrub and move to equilibrium, 3 chlorine in dissociate form and 6 chlorine in precipiate it is not a equilibrium at all pardon explain me
Thank You. Very well done..!!
that was actually really helpful
Could you make a video on prefixes and suffixes of all the functional groups based on their priority!!🥰
yo bro thanks a lot man
Thank you so much. This helped me a lot 😭😭
I have a doubt
Should it be Ksp=X(4X²+0.1)?
Plz clear that for me
4X² is avoidable as the value is too small
he ignored to write (0.1+2X) from the beginning cuz 0.1+2X is approximately equal 0.1 since 2X is a very small number comparative to 0.1 but he couldn't do that for the X cuz we only ignore something when it's very small comparative to the other thing hope that it become clear for you bro😅😅
