  • In this 5-part series, we will provide you with pro tips on developing your efoil skills to the next level. First: TRIGGER CONTROL. This is critical to the enjoyment of your Lift Efoil at the highest levels. It is NOT necessary when you are learning to fly the efoil, but it becomes critical when you want to do more.
In this video, we will walk you through the best way to learn trigger control, and then we will show you how we teach our friends and students here in Hawaii. If you are ever visiting Oahu, reach out to us to ride our Lift Efoils on Hawaiian ocean waters. It is pure magic for your soul.
Watch all of our videos, but then get ready to fly with us. Call, text, or simply sign up through our website at www.HawaiiEfoilExperience.com.

    Hi Alika.
Do you know if the HB-1900 bill failed or passed? I'm happy the HB-858 did not pass and then I see this bill pop up in my searching for E-foil laws.
Thanks, as always for your great instruction. I just bought a full wetsuit so I can keep getting better at it even though the summer season has ended.

I do not know if the bill you referenced passed. Info Should be available on .gov websites

    Thanks for the video!
I'm just getting to the point where I will work on throttle control. It took me forever to get stable. It seems that the most potentially dangerous situation I have is when I accidently bury the nose and go over the top instantly. That board has a lot of energy at that point when it pops back up. At least now I can ride a mile or more if I don't goof around on it.
Thank you for you helpful videos.

      Which foil are you riding?

I always recommend a mid-aspect foil or the Surf V2 line from Lift for new foilers. This is a stable set up for everyone. Larger foils also allow for slower speeds on foil without sacrificing stability.

I own a GetFoil 5,8" board with a Mavericks motor. Slowly getting better with each ride. Some instruction in the beginning would have cut that time in half

      I use a 200 wing on it

How many mph is 4 on the control?

It depends on the rider/board/conditions, but... my guess is that 4 would get you to about 10-12 mph for a 150-170lbs rider in flat conditions.
