- 'There is a fountain filled with blood' is a hymn that was written by a person who suffered a lot from depression. He had a lot of trials to face but in the midst of it, he accepted the Lord in an asylum. That day Romans 3:25 spoke to him and gave him the courage to face the challenges ahead. He finally penned down this wonderful hymn with a revelation that the fountain of blood which flew from Calvary and cleansed him, may clean everyone from the clutches of sin. But, there comes a day when this fountain shall stop flowing. Before that tragic day let’s take a drink from this fountain and be saved to sin no more.
