    More about me:
When I was 20 years old, I dropped out of college and said to myself that I will do what I really want and what I see meaning in. So I decided to build my dream log cabin, all by myself, in the middle of an off-grid bush.
After I left school, I went to work for a while to earn money for trees and hand tools. I spent all the money I earned and my savings on it. Thank God, I already owned the land I have - I got it from my dear parents as a gift and I also bought another part of the land with my own money.
I chose a log cabin for my home because I like it. I build it with the vision of living a simple and peaceful life in it. Having time is more important to me than having money. Of course, nowadays a person cannot live without money, but I would like to live in such a way that my expenses are not so high and thus reduce the need for money. I want to have time not only for myself, but also for my future wife and children. That's why I will try to build the most self-sufficient life possible, in which my own housing, in my case a log cabin, will be the heart of this system.
I chose the traditional method of building - using only hand tools because they are my favorite. There is beauty in simplicity.
Working with hand tools has several advantages: You are able to work off-grid, the entire set of tools you need can fit in one bag, there is better safety when you work alone, you don´t make too much noise when you´re working... so I enjoy it more and I believe you will too, while watching :)
My dear father is a carpenter. I remember that most of the things he taught me while working with wood were precisely while working with hand tools, which required the most attention and practice from me.
My father taught me how to work with wood from a young age, but I have no experience with building a log cabin, so I'm learning everything as I go, and I'm looking forward to what this experience will teach me.
It may not seem like it, but it was a big struggle to get this opportunity to be able to work on my dream, but I finally did it and for that I am incredibly grateful. I also started this CZcams channel where I share my entire journey, so if you are interested, you can check it out. There is no one behind the camera, so I do all the filming and editing myself. I would also be very grateful if you would support my journey by subscribing or sharing, if you want to.
Thank you for being here, I really appreciate it and I'm glad you're watching. I will try to make videos as best as I can, so that you get the greatest enjoyment from them.
Thank you all for your attention. Enjoy!

Your parents and grandparents should be very proud of you. You obviously have an infinity with wood.
Not many would have the confidence to take on such a project. Particularly without taking advantage of “modern-day” tools!
I love the fact apart from the sound of you scraping the logs the viewer is treated to the beautiful song of a blackbird somewhere within the landscape. I look forward to following your epic journey❤️

I have watched several videos on You Tube people peeling logs to make cabins But none are done as perfectly as you have done They are beautiful and once you have completed your cabin it will be a work of art. You are doing a very fine job and I enjoy that you are not using modern tools. You can be very proud of what you have accomplished thus far. I am going to watch every video to watch your progress thank you

I still have my draw knife hanging on the office wall with many other hand tools my family used over the years. You bring
back to me so many fond memories. It seems that you have found your rhythm after the first twenty or so logs. Makes
them look so smooth and professional. I can hardly wait until you start to build the walls or what techniques you are going
to use to make them with. You are good with your camera angles.Your video timing skills are spot on and not boring .....
keeping the audiences attention. Some of the cooking shots are done deliciously close up almost can smell and taste what's
    in the fry pan.
You seem to have had some of the video classes that I had with what I've seen so far. Don't forget to have some fun
with your camera angles. Doing this will make your videos more interesting just don't go to wild with them.
Humbly yours, Me southern AZ. (USA)

All I can say is, you have to have arms like steel after peeling all those logs. Lifting the logs also is a huge heavy effort. I applaud your work towards your cabin. Post more, I'll watch. But don't push yourself until you break... Thumbs Up!

Daily. It is best to sharpen the tool before it is dull. I buy food supplies at the store once every few weeks, but I also have a lot of homemade meat, bread, milk or cheese, eggs and vegetables from my parent's farm.

I have a question on all these cabin builds each and every time you people have these huge meals, and I understand it's allot of work, but how do you even eat that much. While in the army I built bridges such as bailey bridge, MGB across rivers and open spans from one side to another for 12 to 18 hours a day yet we never had meals like that. Heck if I did I would not be able to finish it. Is this a Government mandate thing or are you cooking for two?
