PHEW. I really busted my butt on this one, and I think it was worth it!
20k subs! Can you believe it? 12 year old me would cry. (edit: guys I'm 19 I was referring to the fact that when I made this channel i was 12)
The character in this video is Zephon. He is an Angel that fell from grace. When he fell he lost one of his forelimbs and a wing. He can manipulate stone, which he does to form a pillar-aesthetic prosthetic for his leg. He was designed by my friend Skele and I love him. See his full design here: toyhou.se/857431.zephon
I genuinely enjoy animating, but I need to learn to pace myself. I'm taking an indefinite break from MAPs in order to let myself make videos for fun without deadlines to stress me out.

I felt like writing a little bit, so here:
The wind rushed in his ears. Flames flickered around him in an aura like orb. His fur fluttered and flowed. Falling almost like a shooting star, the speed increasing the flame. With a crash and a thud, a blast was heard and his state of freefall had ended. Pain coursed through his entire body. Nothing seemed damaged or broken. But, something wasn't right. He felt that something was missing. Almost as if a "ding" had gone off. Checking his left wing, he suddenly realized that there was no wing. It was cleanly torn off.
Well I spent like 15 minutes on this

He felt fire burning all around him, he heard the rushing of air in his ears. Then suddenly he hit the ground with a thud. He shook of the nauseating feeling that hit his stomach. He felt like his back was burned, he turned around to see that is right wing was missing. He felt a sad feeling churn into his stomach. He started bawling as if one of his family members died. He could never fly again, unless he was able to make an artificial wing.
The end, sorry if I make any mistakes, for as am young and in elementary school.

the dog twisted and turned in the air, tears being wrestled from his eyes as he careened through the sky. the white trail behind him disappeared as he crashed into the ground. he sat up and glanced over, only to see his right wing was gone, torn from his body. if it happened during the flight or the impact, he did not know. throwing his head back, his eyes widened as pain, anguish, shock, and anger coursed through him. he reared back, the emotions ripping a bloodcurdling scream from his jaws. his eyes widened as he dropped his head back down, tears slipping down his face.

The backgrounds are absolutely phenomenal and I love how you specifically made it move and match the beat of the music. Not only am I amazed with the fluent movements- but the fact that you smoothly animated a gradient without any error (the smoke/light from the eyes). It wasn't only my first animation I veiwed a while ago, after all the great animations I have seen this has to be my favorite.

I think this is my favorite TRNDSTTR meme. The animations really smooth, and I can easily tell what the story behind it is (at least vaguely). I especially love how it checks on its side where its wing was lost.

6 months too late to comment, but I just want to say how I appreciate this so much. It looks amazing; you can tell by just watching how much care and work it took to get this done. Everything about the animation looks carefully drawn out, especially the lineart and the special effects taking place at correct points to match the beat of the song.
