I have applied this kind of film on some of my house windows. There were some small water bubbles and smudges left after applying, but they have disappeared after a copule of weeks by themselves. Water slowly permiates through the plastic and evaporates. As long as you use clean water and don't trap any dust between the foil and the glass, you should be fine. Can't say for certain that all types of foil will behave this way, but I believe it's pretty typical.
@bgbc1 doing it like a screen protector doesn't mean doing it dry... it means you lay the film down starting at one edge and press it as u go. It makes the process no more difficult while also taking far less time.
@@ShawnO9 I have made a mistake, a standard engine runs anywhere from 75 to 105 degrees Celsius. So your CPU can easily get that hot. Jayztwocents did a video on this if you want to watch.
Kinda cool. I would have probably put the film on this interior side of the panel to preserve the glass look and feel of the panel from the exterior but, still an interesting, easy and low-tech mod. Definitely not to everyone’s taste I imagine though lol
If you have a PC in an area that could get damaged or one with the top glass panel this could be really useful for keeping it safe without modifying the look too much
I think it’d look cooler on the fish tank if you did on the side instead of front panel, so like it looks different from different angles: one side has the diffused look, which the other you can still see your parts like the Aio if you need to see temps and stuff like that
I feel like one of those panels that if you turn on because transparent would be great on a case With the hit of a switch you go from white to clear glass panels
Whatever you do, PLEASE, do not put the frosted glass sheet on the INSIDE of the case. That water is not gonna do any favours for all the parts inside 😭🙏
Frosted glass of looked at in the right angle will show you a comprehensive list of all the atrocious you have done in your life. From flirting too long with someone to the point where they are uncomfortable all the way to the time you chopped that person up and served them to your in-laws.
Great now my pc looks like a shower
Fr
I’m like in my head “bro it looks like my shower” and 0.5 seconds later I look in the comments to see this
What's a "shower"???
@@EbenCT_gamer confirmed
@@EbenCT_bro what
You can still see bubbles, I would spend hours trying to perfect that 😂
He put it on with awful technique. You have to treat it like a screen protector
Nah, this one is a good way of doing, yeah you will spend time doing it, but is far easier than trying dry
@dannymoneybags seems like he didn't use any technique . If it's just water it should be real east to get the bubbles out

next mod: put thermal paste everywhere on the pc
Do you even know what mods mean?
That's not a modification that's just a way to brick your PC 😭
i mean i do that modification every Saturday 🤷♂️@@RipRLeeErmey
@@bawder7001 ummmm actually thats not thermal paste 🤓🤓
@@RipRLeeErmeygotta keep the case cool
When you’re sick of the fishbowl look and go for the walk in shower vibe instead.

please put ice cream as thermal paste

lets goo
Next Mod: put hairdryer for more circulation😂
Frosty the ice cold cpu

car wrapping ✅
Day 2 asking
Use car coolant in water cooler
That would be interesting. Auto coolant is meant for much hotter temperatures, though.
So? Wouldn't that make it work better? (I have no idea about PC's or how to to build them)@@whatstaters2544
Now im really curious make this happen

NO- THE WATER FROM STICKING ONTO THE FILM WILL RUIN YOUR PC, AND THE TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO AFFECT THE WATER AND CAUSE LEAKAGE AND AHHHH-
The PC temps might fuck with the adhesive if it's hot tho
This would've looked so much cooler on the front glass panel 🤣
Can you use motor oil as liquid cooling?
when you have red LED lights on and don't realize your pc is on fire: 💀
Use ur white liquid as thermal paste 💀
Imagine buying a fish tank case so you can see all your internals then frosting it so you can't see your internals
This is so cool! Please make more mod vids like this for inspiration
Would probably look insane with raindrops running down it. But electronics don't mix well with water
shouldve done it to the front panel instead, would give the nice effect but you can still see the parts.
I think it'd look better on the side panel instead of the bigger front panel
Turning a PC into a bathroom door
you could prolly carve in some cool patterns on that
Do it on front panel
I think it would look cooler on the front panel than the side panel
If you have a PC in an area that could get damaged or one with the top glass panel this could be really useful for keeping it safe without modifying the look too much
I got really worried he’d sanded the glass down for a second
Next mod: watch me Line X my entire PC
U should have done the side glass that would be fire
Those who wants him to try it
👇
Water air bubbles? Can't be both at the same time
He said water and air bubbles
At that point dont get a glass case if you don't want to see the leds
Try sandblasting the glass panel instead you can even use vinal to make patterns into the glass
Gotta wait for it to dry before you trim it. And push harder to get all the bubbles out.
You should use water with just a little bit of dish soap. It makes it completely free of bubbles and much easier to work with
if you cant get all the air bubbles out, mix the water with a lil bit of dish soap and itll be easier to squeeze all of em out
I think it’d look cooler on the fish tank if you did on the side instead of front panel, so like it looks different from different angles: one side has the diffused look, which the other you can still see your parts like the Aio if you need to see temps and stuff like that
Make a monster energy PC.
Try spray paint to paint pc case
Hydrodip maybe?
you should've showed us how does it look in a dark room
I feel like one of those panels that if you turn on because transparent would be great on a case
With the hit of a switch you go from white to clear glass panels
I can see someone putting an interesting design in that
Buying this for my apartment windows tomorrow
for flushness, use a file on the edges. that’s what car wrappers and also any skateboarder ever does
I would worry about possible moisture but if that's the look you like then it's not bad
would it work on acrylic
bro added blur to his case
There is this stuff it’s called frost spray or blur spray to make acrylic or glass look frosted, but it wipes away with water
You should try putting it on the inside. Looks less plastic that way
could gfuel work instead of water?
Custom panels (front or side)
how to show your pc components without showing your pc components:
Mirror tint would be cooler
Personally, I would put that on the front panel, so make my front r g b fans look cool
Try use phone coolers as cooling system for pc
Trying this glass with darkish green RGBs in the dark looks so damn cool though…
Bruh made a mouse pad without sand blasting
You can Paint the Glas, so you don't See anything more.
The pc is still rendering
Id cut the leices in random sharp shapes and peice on so it looked like broken glass
Ok car window tent.
like a smoke tent
Maybe do it with a black pc with a bunch of rgb so that the color will look nice
half that blurred it might look better
Yep
Imagine, that with fake plants and bright white lights so it looks like a hot, steamy greenhouse thing
Best thing is that it can be destructive if you want it permanent
Whatever you do, PLEASE, do not put the frosted glass sheet on the INSIDE of the case. That water is not gonna do any favours for all the parts inside 😭🙏
Applying it is cool but I like to see the *organs* of my PC
when did computer cases become mirrors ?...
Case with tinted side panels
REFLECTIVE TINT
Looks like a steamy shower or a freezer
Has he tried using thermal paste in a water-cooling unit yet?
Install display on the PC size must be equal to the side panel
Now do one with tinted windows
Looking so awesome though
If i blow my money on a 4090, i want people to see that bad boy. Aint no way im lettin my baby sit behind that thing
Alternatively you can get a fractal design.
make cracked side panel it would be great
Make it a fish tank by using mineral oil
I would use a electric glass
We’ve had this. It’s called acrylic window and rub your hands on it
What about a frost that's not as frosty as this? Like half as much? That would look
Dope
Video 49 of asking you to solder a CPU cooler on a CPU.
so you bought a case with tempered glass side panel and spent 10$ extra to make it look like acrylic side panel?
Can you do the electrochromatic glass? its pricey but I really want to see how it'd look. The glass that turns clear or frosted/tinted
I have the exact same case so I felt so much pain watching this
Now make iron door instead of glass.
Why would I do that. I got the glass so u could see inside my pc lol.
I might do this to my PC
I like it, dont need to see my parts
That pushing of the water to seal the glass was so satisfying 🤤
Okay bud just don’t get too turned on by it
Until you see all the bubbles he left 😂
For no reason at all I kind of like it this way
This totally defeats the purpose for translucent PC case 🤨
Your parts needs privacy aswell, doesn’t like to be naked in the shower
Hide the inside, or show it, no in between for me.
Can you actually do a side 360aio mount on the h6 flow ive been wanting to do it myself but debating because of possible temps
Do the cracked glass look
can u use the electric glass thingy that changes its blur when voltage is applied?

coolest CPU with GPU cooler❤🎉
Can you cut it into a shape and still make it stick or is there a better method for that?
Yes it is destructive, because you had do take out the plastic film
