Dude awesome video
GA4 is hell. I really hate using it
I completely agree with you
Hey there, thank you for putting out all of this great content. Super helpful and very detailed, question for you. You should be using either Google Ads or Google Analytics to track conversions correct? I was told setting up conversions in Analytics and then linking the account to Google ads is the most accurate way to track but wanted to ask your opinion. If you had both setup and working, let's say for a thank you page, if they were both tracking at the same time wouldn't it record 2 conversions even if there were only 1? (since both platforms are tracking the same thing) Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Vert Helpful! Thank You!
This is very helpful. Thanks. By the way, I couldn't see the debug tab in GA under the property. Would you happen to know where Google put it?
Thank you so much man! You’re the best, QUESTION THOUGH, how can I track on a third party site, like an online booking portal?
very informative Thanks
Thank you for this video. Any chance of doing an updated one as I did notice that many things have changed on the Google Ad platform since this recording. thank you.
Thank you. This was supremely useful! :)

legend man
THIS IS AMAZING. Thanks so much for this!
I set up the event exactly as you did for WPforms on my wordpress site but it doesn't seem to work.. everything else - button clicks, thank you page - works. Any idea why?
I'm confused on why we need to use preview mode in GTM in order for the GA debug view indicators to show up. Once GA is connected to your website, shouldn't the data stream be recording all interactions? Why don't indicators show up in GA debug view if you go to the website independent from preview mode?
Conversion tracking - lead gen
I track my signups as secondary conversions, while primary conversions are categorized as qualified and converted leads. For instance, out of a total of 10 leads, 5 are qualified. Among these 5 qualified leads, 3 eventually make a payment or convert. I maintain two separate offline conversion action sheets: one for qualified leads and the other for converted leads. Is this the right approach, or should I focus solely on tracking qualified leads as the primary conversion metric?
Great video! I still have a question though, for some reason there is a huge discrepancy between the conversions that I see in my Google Ads account and GA4/UA (both of them show similar conversions and only the Google Ads account barely show any conversions. Do any of you guys had similar issue? I am probably forgot to do something and I can't figure it out what it is
Excellent, thank you!

Question about THANK YOU pages in GOOGLE SEARCH campaigns: If I have 5 campaigns, one for each state, and I am geofencing each campaign to each state, do I still need to setup 5 different landing pages in order to effectively steer my campaign with conversions? e.g. thanks-texas, thanks-alabama, thanks-wyoming, thanks-montana, thanks-california, etc ? Instead, if I just put one thank you page as "thank-you" is that okay in the case where I am geofenced in each campaign? I really don't have time to create 5 separate thank you pages and configure 5 difference conversions in GTM and GA4...do I really have to do that?
Very nice explained, well done 👍!
I hope Google Ads conversions will be able to differentiate the organic conversions from GA4 and not import all conversions, am I correct?
Great video thanks!
In your video, you installed GTM into WP by using a pluggin header-footer injection. You then proceeded to publish a new version in GTM. My question is why, you never added a tag in GTM? All your changes was in WP.
Thank you boss🎉
Really wish you included information in the debugging section about what to do if none of it shows up. I followed the instructions to the letter and the debug view isnt tracking anything, it says my tag is found at the top left then on the main page says no tag is found. In analytics in the property section nothing is getting tracked.
Also my conversions I set up as events in GA4 dont appear when I go to import them
Would this work the same for CZcams ads sending people to landing page button? Thanks
Hi there. I'm experiencing a problem with my Google Ads account conversion tracking for an e-commerce shop. Although the account normally counts purchase conversions with conversion values when I navigate to the 'Conversions' section, these conversions do not appear in my campaigns. I've confirmed that all tags are firing as expected in Google Tag Manager. Do you maybe know where should I look in order to solve this since I have not found similar problems online
Hi, thank you for this tutorial. I've followed step by step the installation of GA4 and Tag Manager with the Head and Footer extension.
When I'm in debug mode, each click on my text count twice in GA4 debug view, I clicked 3 times on my text, and I have 13 page_views, 6 clicks on my_text_configured and 3 clicks on user-engagement.
Do you know why the stats are multiplied ?
EDIT: now I can see the number of clicks growing in the debug view without touching anything
do you use the plugin google site kit additionally?
My problem is that I need to track a whatsapp button that immediately takes the user to the app. No thank you page. What can I do?
This video shows how to track button clicks and link clicks and that might solve it for you:

I dont have the google alternative in the debugview under debug devices?
Hi , did you figure it out , I have the same issue
I followed all the steps and on my google ads under conversions it says "no recent conversions" in red, however I know I have existing conversions from today. Please help!! "( thank you
I am having the same issue. Did you figure that out
