How to MAXIMIZE Party Buffs! (Guardian Tales)

- This is an explanation on how party buffs work and how to implement these buffs in your party or heroes in Guardian Tales.
This video is a follow-up to my team building guide because I forgot to put party buffs in it.

The information used in the video is based on my own knowledge and what I got from friends and other videos over the course of my Guardian Tales play time. So, when I miss some things, it will be helpful to point it out in the comments below.

Average DPS calculation:
BD-base damage
SB-stat bonus (attack stat bonus)
NS-normal attack/skill bonus (only aplied on the respective action)
CC-critical chance (as it is random when not 100%, expect the average)
CB-crit bonus
ED-elemental damage
DT-damage type (melee or ranged)
BD×(1+SB)×(1+NS)×(1+CC×(1+CB))×(1+ED)×(1+DT)
important info ^
From this u can say that one ranged buff and one other buff(like elemental) is better than 2 ranged buffs which is common

In addition, you only need 1 Hero party Buff crit hit don't use 2 Crit Heroes because the dmg produced will be a little so just bring a PB Hero crit multiplier or range/melee Depends on the party

I have a question tho, in expedition is the party buff shared across all the party?
Idk if this is a stupid question cause i literally just challenged expedition final area 1, yesterday i couldn't beat it even after countless try, and right after i change someone in the second party from fp to Gabrielle, which both isn't really strong yet cause only my main dps party that already mlb, it changed so much that i only need one try to beat it.
The party buff is only for the party the hero is in. It doesn't affect all parties if I remember.

currently i got kamael, craig , and miya on my team. My problem is i'm struggling to choose between rosetta or mayreel To fill the team. Rosetta got the 70% normal dmg party buff and mayreel got the 30% earth dmg. Mayreel chain skill doesn't link so i need to swap craig with fp for it to work. Rosetta chain skill link perfectly.
I'm new so its really confusing for me to choose, plus i dont have that many resources to build 2 of them (i dont have both exwp but i got 300 mileage). 😢

For example that beth buffs 50% physical damage and a hero of range as it will be the new anniversary that is of range but its special attack is of physical damage the buff affects him or not
To answer your question, Beth's party buff is melee damage. As such that physical damage doesn't really apply for Guardian Tales since every weapon has an element type. Since the next new hero is a ranged dealer, the anniversary hero (if I remember correctly) should not be affected by Beth's party buff because she does ranged damage, and not melee.
@@Knossity I know but his special attack is melee attack and not range as the character would then indirectly affect the buff to that ability or not

@@user-oc9bw9mv9ku meant eunha's chain skill right? Yes her chain is melee so it would get buffed by beth. I wouldn't recommend it though
Hey what about the 3v3 content where we team up with another players? Are we get party buff of our own team or we get party buff depends on hero in battle?
I'm not really sure, but I think they made it similar to arena where your party buffs only apply to your heroes. But the hero effects like 'increase attack of party members for 10% for 3 seconds' or smth affects all of the players in the team.
@@Knossity I guess I need to play until I got team with party buff skill regen. Easier way to find that out, maybe. And thank you for your reply, tho!
i wanna ask about valen , she has 100 crit hit multiplier how's that work? , if my crit 100.000 dmg and i have valen it will be 200.000?
So the default crit multiplier for Guardian Tales is 100%, basically when a hero crits the damage gets multiplied by 2
Ex. If Bob deals 100 dmg with no crit, then he deals 200 dmg with crit.
If valencia with 100% crit multiplier is added, then that's added with the default crit multiplier making it 200%. So basically damage multiplied by 3 when a hero crits with valencia.
Ex. Bob deals 200 dmg when crit normally, now with valencia, bob deals 300 dmg when crit.
Although it seems strong, according to some friends from Astrea (Guild) defense debuff teams are still better in raid. They're also the people I asked regarding this question so yeah credits to them

Hey is the party buff stack? I mean if I have 2 hero +50% range damage is it will be +100% or there will be only +50% since its the same buff?
It stacks if I remember correctly

Mono light isn't an option in the current banner, so strictly following it would be not recommended. Would recommend pulling for Corps Commander and Claude. Or Eunha and Nari. Great question! Yes the party buff is still active when the hero carrying them is dead.
even when there's a stage where you can only use 1 hero, the party buffs still active
Does Mayreel passives active in Arena?
Yeah, if I remember correctly
If you mean her evolution passive.
She needs at least one earth unit with her to activate it.
Weapon passive? She needs to crit for 5% mov speed.
how is the critical chance party buff work? is it adding up your critical chance(10℅ + 45%= 55%) or is it just multiplying it(10% + 45℅= 14,5%)
It adds up to your current critical chance.

Probably Minotaur Shield, Captain's Mirror Shield, or any high rarity shield that can be easily max limit broken.

every character has party buff right, is the leader party buff only works or all of the hero with their own party buff gives buff to every one
Every character has a party buffs. Regardless of being a party leader or not, every hero in the party would try to apply their party buff on the current party they are on. I say 'try' since there are some party buffs that aren't compatible with every hero, like melee and ranged damage.
