- Today was a bit of everything. We are hauling manure, spreading lime, harvesting some more peas, mowing turf grass with an autonomous tractor, and harvesting small roll and even had a field fire

Neat to see the turf. I enjoyed seeing it for years driving through Batavia on I-90. Neat to see a rare 9500XP pea combine. The 9500XP was only made a short time between the shift from Byron to OXBO and OXBO being FMC 20 years ago.

Love the pea vining here in the Uk we started growing peas in the early 60s, then the viners were static in the farm yard and were collected from the field with elevator's on to small lorries the haulm was taken by local farmers for cattle feed, then early 70s we built a freezer factory to do frozen veg and the viners then were pulled with a tractor, we had to close the factory in 1982 due to changes in farming policies so now just grow cereals and maize and sugarbeet.
Wow that some interesting history. There’s still a lot of what we call processing vegetables grown in our area. Peas green beans beets carrots sweet corn….. we have a couple factories right close to us. Thanks for sharing that and for watching
