Alright, I guess today I'm choosing violence. Habit Rouge is probably the Guerlain male-targeted classic I've tried the hardest to love. I've had the EDT and EDP for years and they smell very nice but there's nothing about either that makes my heart flutter. To me they are like Shalimar with cologne freshness but if I want a cologne then I'm going for a cologne and if I want something really sexy I'll go for Shalimar (extrait preferably). The EDT and EDP are perfectly pleasant on my skin but I wish they would grab me by the collar and... well... SOMETHING. I feel like if any Habit Rouge might have spoken to me it would have been the extrait.

The extrait is sublime. If youve smelled Cartier Declaration Parfum vs EDT, the approach is similar.... laying on the delicious balsamic, resinous ambery qualities.

I've been on the hunt for a bottle of the extrait for so long, not sure it's gonna happen. I do love pretty much every version/flanker I own tho, can't go wrong.

I own habit rouge sport and to me it doesn’t cut across like a sport fragrance. I wear it to bed most times.

Its not especially Sporty, but does bring a refreshing shift to the HR universe.

....so beau cavalier is not much different than earlier EDPs you mentioned at 4:30....i kindly want to know: is it similar to Habit Rouge EDP current version which i own?
I understand that it is rare to find (i found it) but i don't want duplications in my collection
