Call me crazy but the best deck for roaming throne is actually the mono white humans decks from best of 1 standard.... It's insane how many triggers there are.... Brutal cathar Adeline lunarchs veteran and copper coat vanguard which gives everything including the throne ward 2 bc ward 1 is a triggered ability which means that if you put the throne onto the battlefield while vanguard is in play your throne is extremely hard to deal with giving it ward 6 essentially (has ward 2 which doubles and gets double ward 1 from vanguard) I've never enjoyed aggro much but this deck just feels nuts now... Yesterday I had a match where I was at 3 life I kept top decking lands when I drew a loran which let me kill their leyline binding getting back a lunarch vet from early in the game the following 2 turns gave me an Adeline into a throne and within another two turns I was all the way back at 30 life and won the game 😂 it just snowballs really fast
Lovely deck! I also made a video about my own werewolf deck just a few days ago so it was really funny seeing this pop up in my recommended. Never thought about the inclusion of roaming throne tbh. Very clever!
Roaming throne is such an enabler for many decks. Picked a set up from my lgs for $10(CAD) a piece.
Seems like a great pick up, especially as it can go in so many different decks and will be around in standard at least for a long time

No worries. I altered the deck today slightly as my meta was different to when recorded. +2 arsonist +1 mountain -1 Arlinn -Piper -Royal Treatment 👍👍
btw a must-have in this kind of Throne multiple deck is ill tempered loner. i had him out with a few thrones and it did like +20 dmg stacks when there were a few creatures dying back and forth during combat phase. it was my win-con otherwise would have died next turn. @@HexMTG

looking forward. so far i got to Platinum default tier with 4 blocks with the werewolves. (i did get diamond last month so i already started gold tier 1)it's alot fun when it works,it's just fragile against hard control or big ramp(+selfmill)decks. i added a few cards to stop aggro though such as burn down the house and brother'shood end. those are for me standard addings when playing anything red.There is really TONS of good decks around,I would say Ixalan is one of the best sets I've seen in a long time because it allows for so many awesome tribe decks. @@HexMTG
I had to add some packsong pups as early removal bait or those kessig naturalists would never survive and some secluded courtyards, 24 lands is not enough! thanks!
So tovolors huntmaster fight ability triggers twice for paying the many one time?
Thank you for finally fixing your MTGA soundtrack. It's been playing the music indicating "Defeat" at the beginning of each of your matches and then playing the appropriate music for the board environment. I had to think you did that for a reason, cause it just made no sense to me!

Seems good! I'm determined to try all tribes with the Throne good or bad, and Werewolves were definitely on the good end of the scale!

You should try Ill-Tempered Loner in this deck with some Tyvar's Stand or what have you. If it takes damage while indestructible and the Roaming Throne is also out, it goes infinite and burns out the opponent.
Hell yeah! I'll definitely give it a go. I used to have a Boros infinite combo deck with the loner and loved it!
Even without the indestructible it's sick. If you flip it to night you can distribute a ton of damage around your creatures and burn them out that way, even with a single Play with Fire or something.

22:50 Didn't you have lethal with the Manland? If I'm couting correctly, you would have 39 damage + 1 untapped Blocker
Is The Celestus worthwhile? Mainly because it can make it night, but also ramp. Maybe a one of?
Doesn't seem to be aggressive enough for this deck, sadly
I really hate the day night thing so never played werewolves but it's a good pairing
I hear you. I was playing a lot of Draw/ Go games and I thought huh how can I leverage this. I love cards that are in new sets that reinvigorate old decks and I think Roaming Throne does this to a lot of decks! Get to play with old cards in a new way!
