- Radiohead playing Treefingers live in Nîmes on the 10th of july 2012. It's the live debut of the song, as they had never played it live, even if it's now an old song from Kid A.
- Hudba
The people in the audience are some of the luckiest people in the world.
Oh fuckin' yes
And some of the most annoying too...
Why can’t they SHUT UP
why, why the fucking fuck someone really even thinks of whistling there
if you listen carefully it could resemble the "seagull guitar" of Gilmour in Echoes. especially from 0:57 to 1:19
A single track that defined a special part of the Ambient music genre history by itself
i can feel the Biosphere in it, though
Toffeebomb Perfect! It really resembles Biosphere. For me it's like a kaleidoscope and I can also see reflections of Brian Eno, Seefeel, Tesu Inoue, Vangelis ... through it.
Absolutely. But there's also something new and very Radiohead about it, something about those chords...
Something so elusive and distant yet intimate and surrounding ... thank you.
As far as “defining” the ambient music genre, Brian Eno has this beat by 17 years with “An Ending (Ascent)”.
I still can t believe they played this.
Still waiting for their next world tour and hope they play this
They used it for an intro to Daydreaming in their most recent show in Chile :)
they also did it in Peru.
I believe the antenna in Jonny's right hand is picking up a signal from the depths of the pacific ocean whereby a transmitter is attached to the arse of a Blue Whale. Ingenius really.
who the fuck whistles at a band when they're playing an instrumental..
drunk people
Xavi Campoverde it’s a Radiohead concert. They sound like dumb girlfriends who came along cause their boyfriend wanted to see them. Not knowing the gravity of the situation and the sheer majesty of Radiohead, they rudely whistle.
Stupid disrespectful people
Wow, must have been amazing being there and listening it live. It's an experience in itself just listening the studio version, but live is truly something else.
Goes to Radiohead concert
stays only for Treefingers
Leaves
what a Chad
eats shoots and leaves..
The stillness and organicity (if thats a word). Feel like i teleport to another place when the xylophone hits in places.
I think it's rhodesicity
@@Htheorphanarian Can't find that word.. Spelling error?
@@mhtbfecsq1 it was a Rhodes organ joke, that failed...(drops head in shame)
@@Htheorphanarian Ahh had a feeling lol. It's ok was quite good, I'm just slow atm bcs early on a sunday :D
Ed's guitar sounds are amazing❤️❤️❤️
I wish they would do an ambient album
This is awesome - needs more ED in though!
@Kormak, Maker of Salad Poggers
Weird to think this track was only played twice - and both times were in Nîmes, France.
Yup back to back days and I believe it had to do with Scott Johnson’s passing. As well as opening with Lucky on the TKOL tour that first day of Nimes, after the break.
Interested to see if they’ll bring treefingers back whenever they tour next since it’s been 20 years of Kid A!
I feel like I watched a film after listening to this.
Ethereal.
Daniel Plainview i
sounds amazing, thanks.
outer body experience
I bet Thom always feels weird when they play one of their handful of non-vocal songs. The fact there are only a handful, and they for the most part have only played them once or twice or three times.
Don't people know when to shut up ?
I was thinking the same. I could punch them in the face.
1:03 Wow! someone just whistles! Unbelievable 🙄🤦
Pov u put on ur vr headset and this is the menu music
blown away. come to LA soon, Radiohead. Maybe give us like a couple visits i'll go as many times as you need me haha
It's exactly what they have done, you might of made it happen!
i wish the crowd would shut up for 1 second
like a dream
siiiiiiiiiick
tho it seems they changed the chords, it's still got the vibe.
Shut up and listen, people! Please.
Damn, I really wish this was recorded better.
Rude audience.
