- The MACDOWN is my first Apex Legends Tournament that I've ever hosted. Between each round, 2 legends were permanently banned creating a very unique competitive experience! I invited 60 different content creators and pros to this tournament, and it was all streamed LIVE on my TWITCH: / macro

I actually agree, Newcastle walls don’t have much more health than a rampart walls but it feels like people don’t shoot out Newcastle walls for some reason.
Rampart has more walls and it’s a tactical but people just seem to shoot them to get rid of them.

If we ever see something like this again I would love to see TGM, Zeus, Zylbrad, raggtag, and Punch kid in the tournament

I don't normally watch tournaments or any esports but this had me hooked, you and boom are great casters, cant wait for the next one!
Damn what a great tournament. I didn't think the legend elimination concept gonna have that much of an effect on the team comp and stuff. The final round is just a chaotic battle with just rush-down characters which is so fun to watch. So sad i didn't get to watch this live. Plz do more if you can macro

And the Fuse! Taking a (not so great) hero and using him to play in a way that is completely unique and fearsome with cramped spaces. And I don't think they ever even showed him using his ult. He was my hero.
We most absolutely need another macdown, I never watch tourney streams or video highlights, but I watched this whole video and not one second disappointed. I enjoyed every second of it! The energy you and boom brought was amazing and hope to see you guys bring it again in a another macdown!

Watching this Tourney gets me hyped to play after work every time. Ive been binging off and on from this vid but every time it gets me hyped. This is what i aspire to be apart of ya know? Be the best Apex Predator. Itd be cool and im honestly happy Mac made a banger vid with a lot of extremely amazing players. Lots of thrill and action and always a show!

Never fully watched a game tournament but i saw this whole thing live and it was a blast
Great concept and great video, this has made me think that apex comp would be alot more exciting without the scan/valk meta, so much more focus on positioning, taking smart fights and making sneaky plays instead of unlimited scans and flying straight to centre zone within the first 10 seconds of landing 😂.

i was thinking this was the highlights of the tournament and was like no way I'm watching two hours of this but just the concept of removing legends every game and the way you get to see the wheels rotating inside the player's head trying to adapt to every new situation is amazing. I will be there live next time.
