Mirage is probably the most down to earth and relatable. Also a lot of underdog and a little in over his head energy. Reminds me of some overwatch video where Michael Chu was talking about Sombra, who he described as the most like a regular person in their personality

You're right, both are relatively human - like in terms of personality, although I would say mirage more and sombra less. Also, both are unique as they bring comic relief while the other heroes/ legends are trying to be serious and cool. It's so clear in the contrasts between mirage and crypto/ wraith.

I love how in the launch trailer, mirage doesn’t believe that path has ten kills. This makes sense because on the game first dropped, it requires much more skill and it was harder to pop off.
EDIT: Y’all do have a point. It may also be possible that this line from the trailer is a statement that the apex games are on a greater level than other br’s at the time. In apex, you can’t build just build wall rose every time someone shoots at you. You actually need to fight back or most likely get gunned down trying to escape

So, fun fact regarding Revenant’s trailer, all the times we see Revenant doing things that would normally be completely wrong for a human have been actually hardwired into Rev’s simulacrum brain to be completely normal. That’s why up until the glass shard breaks/cuts something in his neck, he believes he’s human, and doesn’t break, but once he cracks, the whole code broke down and everything he lived through as a simulacrum came crashing down on him at once.

Revenants trailer is the only one I come back to on the regular. it made him look absolutely terrifying, and that shot of him plowing through guards as a shadow, accompanied by the music, is still superior to any other trailer imo

She attacks with the sword in her melee (you can only see it in 3rd person)
hinting that her heirloom will literally be her sword

The first trailer was what got me to main wraith when apex came out she just looked like such a cool character and it’s to bad she’s been turned into a sweaty character.

I loved Olympus so much such a great map since it’s small there’s constant action now with storm point you can go a while without seeing a fight
It ain’t small, it’s one of the bigger maps, only reason you get action fast is because half the lobby lands in the same area and waits for a third party

Ooh for sure Revenant trailer was by far the most exciting and the best trailer of all
It had so many things , the fight the rev reveal , It had a bit of a dark vibe which is just another plus , then hyped up rev completely and also set up loba
I watched that trailer so many times when it came out
Shame they fucked up Revenant so badly. As Rev main I wish they'd just increase the Totem time and give him and Pathfinder the Fortified passive.

This is kind of a pointless fact but in the season 7 trailer, horizon wipes a smudge of dirt off of mirages cheek. In the season 11 trailer, Ashe cuts that exact same spot on Mirages face.

I find it interesting that in the S1 trailer, you can clearly see 3 barrels, which could show people how the weapons have changed from the double take etc.

As a Mirage main, I love how despite the fact that he is the worst character in the game he still has a ton of recognition.
He isn’t a bad legend by any means, he just takes a bit more skill to properly use his abilities, just like Crypie. Not gonna lie tho, successfully bamboozling enemies is just the best feeling ever.

Macro, if you haven't noticed. They release a new map every 4 seasons (1 year). They released Worlds Edge in season 3 (4 seasons including season 0) then Olympus in season 7 (4 seasons after 3) and Storm Point in season 11. (4 seasons after season 11)

The revenant trailer was definitely my favorite, felt like a John wick movie and seemed to actually make a solid story
Anyone remember before they announced Rev they had that fist guy and we were all convinced it would be him until they teased Rev and had him kill the fist dude the interview? And then followed with the best apex trailer. So hype

Season 10 trailer hyped me soo much for Seer, and the trailer was frickin dope
I remember when the launch trailer came out, I was talking to my friend about rumors/leaks for a Titanfall Br and showing him a TF map which was like a reversed/upsidedown Kings canyon. Seeing the launch trailer got me so hyped, downloaded it on my xbox and even showed its internal name (or whatever) on the "User playing X" tab.

Season 11 is honestly really hard to play with olympus gone. The other maps are great and for me they were kind of just a refresher so I don't get bored of olympus. Stormpoint is the worst map IMO. I just want Olympus and Kings Canyon in rotation. But i think season 2 trailer deserves more love, just the camera work, music, and cinematic feeling of it makes it so hype.

I remember watching the season 4 trailer in class and was so hyped.
I was so hyped with revenant after the launch trailer I knew he was gonna be my main
I honestly love the prowlers and the prowlers are like double edged sword could help you but also fuck you over and also it spices things up a lot
I think what helped Season7 get its hype is the fact that most of us players thought we were gonna get Olympus earlier in Season6 due to the lore buildup in Season5. Specifically the unexpected emergence of Ash and the namedrop for Olympus.
I remember it waiting for something new during watching S6 trailer. I was disappointed at first but atleast it introduced me to my main.

I think the worst part of the modern trailers is the change in animation studio, I think it really hurts the trailers, the OG animation studio was unmatched.

Fun Fact: Besides when using her Ult, Ash uses her sword when doing melee attacks. This can be seen by other players or when using the 3rd person glitch( I believe they should make a mode for 3rd person)

The old realistic animations were sooooo good, idlve to have a trailer like that. But i guess they won't be able to have the trailers look action packed if it wasn't a bit cartoonish. It better represents how sweaty the games have gotten.

I think storm point can be pretty full for pubs sometimes, but really, really good for high level play (aside from dodgy rings. I honestly don't mind the prowlers too much)

I watched this while it was live.
The simulacrum program alters what actually happens so it makes sense to him. So even tho he’s climbing buildings and taking bullets, in his head that’s not how the event plays out.
This game has so much love and care put into it, they didn't have to put extra voice line interactions with characters and lore but they did. It amazes me eveeytime I hear a voiceline with some new lore that makes me search up these characters to learn everything I can
I remember leaving Apex for pretty much all of season 6 and then returning after seeing season 7 trailer because it had so much hype

Again, when talking about maps and RSPN’s choice to only have Fragment and Storm Point as the maps I have to say this.
They should’ve had us pick between two of the maps, and have it switch every week. And for an example, have kings canyon and fragment or Olympus and storm point be an option, then the next week it could be Olympus and kings or fragment and storm. With a 1.5 hour rotations. So that way you can play the maps you want while still not switching between all 4.

Launch trailer is A because it's the og trailer and it's beautiful. Rev trailer is best though. Everything from the build up to the reveal was perfect.

I 100% Agree that The Revenant trailer was one of if not the best trailer (In my opinion) However, I hate that the trailer got Revenant so hyped up to be this Scary Villain character thats strong, and hard to beat- and now is just a character that gets made fun of most of the time and killed in the trailers like he's a joke. Other than that, I still love Rev and I main him today!
and world's edge didnt disappoint at all. it was so so good. I miss the two construction towers
