He just shows mirage gameplay while he rating him, and just because he may think mirage is bad, it doesn’t mean he will, never use him.

It's not hard to press H and use it to get first shot against an enemy, this guy is clearly trash with mirage lol
Valkyrie is B tier because she has a infinite jet pack that cost no crafting materials and the rockets are still good

No lie she is upper B-tier or maybe even A tier , actually she's definitely mid to upper A tier in my books and if you use the jetpack in a proper set up you could get some juicy flanks on your enemies especially with how the missile swarm messes up your enemies sensitivity so if you strafe and really surprise them you'll get some really well coordinated kills and easy ones too.

I don’t think mirage is the worst in arenas. His decoys are pretty bad but his ultimate is amazing at getting away. Also you can get a clutch revive if you have a golden backpack. I think Loba is the worst because her ultimate and passive are useless and her tactical is very easy to see on most maps. Just my opinion though.
@Project Phantom I agree heavily. If you know how to use mirage and controlling his decoys, you'd get better value, especially if you main him, I really don't see him as a D tier in my eyes, I see more as a C tier, he's just a high-ceiling character to play as in arenas

It’s sad that Arenas ranked wasn’t handled that well. I played it for so long (pathy main) but realized without a pre-made team it’s almost impossible to climb to diamond+. It’s fun but needs some tuning.

I think mirage’s ult is absolutely busted in arenas. First round, every round, relatively cheap, and good.
I got a mirage knocking me right after he pops his ult. and runs away, Tbagged him to the max when we won

Rampart is at least A tier. With a good defensive team, she can hold position and be almost unpushable. If any eager octane tried to rush, he gets instabeamed. Also, Seer is as good as Bloodhound due to his passive working as a perma soft scan

@@yojanselcuevas9829 no but barrels are inexpensive and i'll just chuck one beside you. i'm saying that rampart has a counter just like caustic but caustic can lay down his traps on the fly quickly literally when he is about to engage in a fight right next to the enemy. however if you are vsing a good rampart my god she fuckn slays in arena otherwise if you are vsing a bad rampart she will position her walls like dog shit and get easily wiped.
I disagree with Valkyrie, who I think is A tier since besides her ultimate which isnt that good in arenas (however its really cheap), her tactical and passive jetpack are very useful in many arenas maps. If not A tier she should be B tier

I think there should be a separate balancing for Arenas, like seriously some characters that are built for BR just don't work there, Loba is a good example, a looting legend in a mode basically without loot...
Well they have stated that they're focus will always be Battle Royal and no Legends will be balanced around Arena's

1:50 That’s just straight up wrong the jet pack does recharge. As a Valk main who used to play exclusively arenas until recently, the jet pack is the main reason she’s amazing. The amount of verticality on arenas maps makes her really strong, especially since the jet pack is FREE. Yes her ult is trash against good players, but the other 2 things easily make up for it. I could go on and on about how near perfect she is in Arenas honestly. The only people who I’ve heard say Valk is bad I’m arenas are the ones that either play her wrong, or just play arenas wrong.

I think you under estimate valk. I agree her ult is useless but her passive great for jukeing people bridges and roof tops giving you high ground and time to heal. Also here tactical is surprisingly great for pushing people out of cover and finishing off kills

Wraith actually has a speed boost of 30% when she's in the void. She's had it since the Lost Treasures event patch in Season 5.
Yeah but when she uses it she'll lose all momentum, the 30% boost just help you get to a decent speed faster

He has his ultimate every round, it's cheap, and it almost always guarantees you win a 1v1. Plus sneak gold bag rez, and you have a very strong arenas legend

Idc I'm still playing Wattson and MIRAGE IS AMAZING I LOVE HIM
i feel like he underestimates Mirage and Valk in this, mirage's bamboozles are pretty good in a game mode where even faster movement and pushing is the strategy for most. because in the moment especially if you can put your clone down correctly, you can get all the info you need in a split second, and his ultimate is great if a squad is hard pushing you, because they all get lost in the chaos. and his ability to invisi-res is great. in the mode where fast decisions matter even more, mirage is great cause hell make the enemies make the wrong one.
Valk is also better than I think you give credit for. her ultimate isn't all that great, but in open maps she can easily spot enemies on high ground, in the open, or where they are going on the map so you can decide what to do, her tactical is also great in that you can stun enemies, get them to leave cover, and kill low health enemies with ease, and not to mention that her mobility is great for acting as a distraction, pushing to high ground, getting material, and getting a read on the enemy.
I agree, his ultimate is very very useful in arenas, and his decoy is good if you are controlling it.

@@swapnil5508 yeah i have no idea, shes quite literally the worse legend IMO. her defense doesnt do continuous damage, doesnt keep enemies out for long, and doesnt prevent damage. and shes designed to be able to have many ultimates. shes just not good for area at all.

I hate when people say "oh valk ult is all about rotation" wtf? Valk has the longest range area scan in the game. Her ult is cheap and its great to use off spawn to see where the enemy team is going and setup to defend or attack. Also her tatical is still good and the jetpack also does work

You can do some bs in arenas with valk, specifically on dome there are silos that end up in end zone a lot of the time and valk can sit on top of that high ground for the entire round sometimes
seen a valk use this tactic recently. not really effective, just annoying. my team and i picked off her teammates easily and just waited till the valk gave up for an easy w

@@derp-7274 In Arenas? I would say Loba is. 2 of 3 of her abilities do almost nothing, and her third ability is outclassed by other movement legends, like Path. Mirage at least has some unique in his kit with the decoys giving him an edge in fights. He isn't good, but he isn't the bottom of the barrel either.

@@derp-7274 1- Not 100% unharmed. She doesn't teleport until the bracelet lands, so she can get shot while trying to teleport. Path's grapple moves him faster and farther.
2- Paying 200 crafting materials to maybe get some of the meds in the bins isn't worth doing almost all of the time, especially since she has a movement ability that lets her grab the bins faster, or you could just run a better movement legend.
3- Passive is invalidated by just looking at the bins to see if they're opened or not. Not knowing if the pill has been grabbed is a non issue because of how easy they and the people going to grab them are to see.
As a Valk, you just need to look for the highest points on the map and fly there. There’s not many places that have a [RETURN TO BATTLE] timer so you can basically go anywhere. Get the highest of high-ground, get perfect visibility of the enemy team and beam them before they can do anything. You can also escape from a lot of stunning abilities/ults/nades using your jetpack

Gibby allows your entire team to loot care package in dome without any harm if enemies don't push. That alone makes him the best for me especially when you can't buy good guns yet. Plus passive is free 50 health and peeking. Ult is expensive and can do nothing if enemies find a cover. But if they don't, oh yes it do be hitting. Gibby just can't not be S tier.
You can buy good guns every round pretty much also care packages aren’t worth wasting a gibby bubble

personally, i'd put valk higher but only if your team has good synergy. If you can hit all three of the enemies with your tac and get your team to push up then you're at an advantage. Her jetpack is really good for a passive, you can air bhop away if they try to three stack you. The only thing i'd say isn't very good is her ult. If you save it for later in the game it *might* be viable, but not that much.
Facts. The jetpack is good mobility, and the q is really good too
I see her ult being bad as a good thing cause you can use those mats for better stuff like nades, which is one of the reason why I think legends with ult that isn’t great is better in arenas because you get a slightly better Arsenal than others
Her ult is actually really good when you solo, your team on the ground gets the free scans from your ult while your airborne and her scan is the only scan in the game that doesn’t tell the enemy that they are scanned

After the rampart collection event Pathfinder go nerfed in arenas hard. No one is talking about it but when you grapple, it is instantly a 30 second grapple. It's kinda sad

Man when Skull Town was an Arenas map I loved playing Rev there, it was definitely a good map for mobility but Revenat’s climbing is a very silent tool so the ability to just get these crazy flanks and take people by surprise was awesome.
I been using mirage in arenas and if used properly you can still get bamboozle kills I'd say he isnt the best and maybe low B or C. D just doesn't seem like it when you can make the proper bamboozles and win

He's outclassed
He's a solid B, the most effective way I've found to push a team in the game (other than revtane, revyrie, revfinder ,a caustic nox nade push or EMP push. Okay why are there so many gosh darn pushes in this game?) Is to send a decoy to an enemy and then approach them from another angle or just pop your ultimate and find the right opportunity to shoot and if they start shooting at you don't run, panic and then hide cause the enemies will know and follow you. Instead go to the place where you popped your ultimate and all the decoys will follow you and then run in circles to throw them of guard but it doesn't work as well in buildings so watch out.
I've seen myself playing mirage more than ever in arenas his passive rez is good with the gold bag making him a great supporting legend and his ultimate almost guarantee's the 1v1, overall I think he should be above wattson

I use valk in arenas and while i agree her ultimate is sort of useless in arenas, you could use it in combination with her ability to mark enemies in mid-air, and her jets let you get to the high ground on some maps, which is useful in combination with her tactical, not only in battle royale, and its probably even better in arenas, i personally think she should be bumped up a notch to C, because you can get decent use out of her kit.

Being a Valkyrie main in arenas, I run 50 meters, and then I fly to the top of the map so that I can ping the enemies. I also use her missiles when I see the enemies. This gives a huge advantage.

I considered Valk one of the best arenas legends, I mean yes the ultimate isn't great but the Arc star stun is so good in tight situations or to lead an attack and her jet pack is good if you know how to use it

@@milesjacobson9599 i love shooting a valkyrie out of the sky with a prowler my god absolutely love it lol. The amount of times i have nearly killed a valkyrie only for her to fly high in the sky to reposition and for me to loose sight of her is insanely annoying. Also man a horizon than uses her gravity lift and shoots you while she is speeding to the top is annoying as hell, now i just run away if i don't have a fully automatic gun as now i'm generally running the prowler so i have to land my shots and can't spray and pray.
I think Fuse is an easy A-tier. In a game mode when shields and meds are hard to come by, his abilities are just what you need it weaken the other team before the main engage. Plus my favourite thing to do is having 6 arc stars, all nuckle clusters, and his ult. On some maps it’s very OP against more passive players
This isnt exclusively with fuse, but in the phase runner you can just spam grenades that everyone hides behind to get them out or knock them

Although I must say, I don't think you played enough of each legend on all of the maps.
Horizon and Wraith are two of my main picks for arenas ranked and im managing to climb solo through diamond. Horizon's tactical creates great opportunities to push safely if you have to climb to reach an enemy and imo she excells on Phase Runner. Her tactical can get you over the wall on the opposite side of the portals making great pushes.
Wraiths tactical can be amazing for pushing without taking damage and her ult is INCREDIBLE, great for rotations back and forth, finding angles and getting back safely and MOST of all, KIDKNAPS. With an easy knock from the kidknap you can almost guarantee that you win the round!
(I don't play many other legends so I can't say anything for them)
Mirage’s ultimate can be bought every round, so I just buy his ultimate and gold backpack every chance I get and become a full support member. Mirage is definitely not D tier.
I think in arenas revenant is the best legend his ultimate literally gets you a free win most of the time and his tactical stops a whole squad
So he's the best legend one round out of two, which translate into average legend

I recently got Rampart, they are the perfect character for when you're in the zone and they aren't, stick up a wall or 2 and then beam the enemies while they try to get to the ring, they'll be hurt so bad or even dead by the time they're close enough to be in zone, which by then means an easy push and victory

Mirage is either B or A tier. The res is so strong when you pair it with your ult and a gold bag, there’s been so many times I would not have won if it wasn’t for that.

It’s interesting to see Valk so low, I use her primarily in arenas for her tactical to push enemies out of cover and don’t normally buy her ultimate. The only time I did was on accident and used to to figure out where the enemy team was since they were all hiding the entire game
Rank all the maps in arenas there have been like 10 now
You just need more practice with mirage I’m a pretty good mirage with over 3k kills and the revive is kinda op and the decoys you just need to learn to place better

Fuse and rampart are super underrated. Meds are super valuable in arenas, and both do a good job of wasting or saving meds (fuse getting free damage on the enemy team, and rampart being able to sit behind her walls damaging people without taking hits in return). Also, as you mentioned, Gibraltar is really good, and fuses hot is kind of a direct counter to his bubble if you’re close enough. Also, with new buff, you can literally just buy Sheila, mozambique, p2020 and have a damn minigun while spending far less than you normally would

nah wraith is awful in arena only sweaty wraith players are good with her because they have experience. aswell if you are a wraith main learn to use the wingman because a straffing wraith with a wingman is hard as fuck to it.

@@glitch5311 hey i thought that was odd when he said she doesn't have a speed boost because i thought she did. i think loba does a better job of getting in and out of situations once she's killed someone. however i have vsed so many lobas who think they can straight up flank the team by throwing their bracelet behind us, it's like dude wtf you know your bracelet leaves a white streak in the air and theirs at least a 1 second delay of you putting your bracelet back on. bad loba players in arena are the first to die due to dumb flanking. encountered so many wraiths who are loosing a 1 v 1 phase out and i just follow them and kill them. a straffing wraith with a wingman though or even a straffing lifeline with a wingman 2 of the smallest hitbox along side wattson is a fucking nightmare rofl.
btw can i ask, does anyone actually like that arena map the dome? because i think it sucks so much literally just 2 teams taking sniping pot shots at one another until the ring closes. A valkyerie or a revenant will always get the high ground ontop of the cylinder building and snipe and if you don't have a mobile character on your team your fucked as you can't reach em and i really don't like sniper wars in arena its just super boring.

If you punch as your stim is about to end, so the animation of him throwing it away doesn’t happen, you don’t lose any charges, meaning you can save around 100-150 creds each round not buying stims
Have Lifeline is like having a 4th in the squad
Depending on the map Valkrie can actually be pretty solid in arenas with her passive. Also she ligit feels like the hover pack in satisfactory a game I have pumped like 100 hours into and that might have had a skill effect
Valk was a huge shocker to me, I believe Valk is kind of underrated in Arenas. I believe her ability is a very good zoning ability especially if you are a more of a conservative player on maps such as Oasis or Phaserunner. Fuses place is kind of justified because he is very useful in most situations and his ult is incredibly good at zoning. But hands down, Lifeline is the best in Arenas. It’s similar to having a pocket Mercy in Overwatch when you have a Lifeline with a Gold Backpack.
I think the reason that Valk is so low is because the only consistent part of her kit is her passive. Her ult is useless, her tac can be countered on a second's notice by a majority of legends (Octane tac, Gibby tac, Wraith tac, Wattson ult [every other round], Bang's passive, etc.). When you play Valk you have to wait for your enemies to run out of resources in order to shine.
lol don't listen to him, this guy has no idea what he's talking about and he's only plat in arenas (that says alot), her jetpack DOES refill in arenas, valk easily an A tier in arenas especially on maps like dome,hillside, party crasher, coming from an arena D1 player

It’s so crazy to me that there is a scenario in which caustic is better then valk
A very strong combo you should really try is Bloodhound, Seer, and Caustic. We found the best maps for this squad are all maps but phase runner. You should try out this combo with some friends!!

Revenant is actually much powerful once you utilize his sneaking skills. You can ask your team to do a push or a hold and he could just sneak around the team and take a few people out. His silence is good for cover too, since people still wouldn't want to be silenced, they won't go near the death orb, so Revanant or his teammates can hide near it to be virtually invisible.
this is why i play caustic or any defensive legend absolutely hate being flanked fight me face to face in my gas preferably rofl. but if i am vsing a rev a octane or a wraith i instantly know at least one of them are going to try and flank me and they always get f'd up. i think with new players it works but not experience players as they know it's coming particularly if players are poking one another from across the distance. revs ult is fuckn good though in arenas. But seriously his silence is literally meh, every time a rev hits me with a silence i couldn't care less. Most of my traps are set or have already been thrown near your facility.
As a Loba main i both agree and disagree, when playing the economy strategy she can teleport to the crafting mats before anyone and collect a bunch of money for your team. A good team with a Loba will always collect more mats than the oppositon and probably also a medical bin depending on the map.

Good tier list Mac' but you missed the most important part on Valk' kit, her jet pack can let you go ALONE and get killed by a full team that has the high ground, grating instant victory (to the enemy team, but still that's a huge impact)
I mean, Arenas is literally about controlling areas to lock down storm as well as being a war of attrition. Caustic does this really well if played right. Blocking doors on somewhere like Overflow is mad and blocking off flanks on Habitat 4 is really good and has saved me countless times.

This is what my tier list looks like, the list will be first and then there will be explanations. (Keep in mind, these are based off of how I've seen them used and how I've used them)

Explanations for my terrible opinions are here:
Starting from the bottom, Wattson is the worst character in the game. Her fences don't do enough damage and her ultimate is only helpful for grenades/ultimates. Macro is yelling at respawn to buff the wrong person
Loba is terrible and like macro said, there are better mobility characters. Her ultimate doesn't do enough and overall, she just isn't worth playing for any reason other than a daily challenge.
Wraith has no practicality in anything except getting herself and teammates in and out of areas fast and unseen. Her phase thing is really helpful for getting in and out of situations. Her portal sucks but it can be used to get your team behind enemy lines really quickly.
I agree with macro about caustic. Caustic just doesn't have enough options for defense and definitely very little in terms of offense. His gas damage needs to be raised at least a little or at least faster damage. He's not terrible or useless like Wattson but he does need some minor buffs.
Horizon is not good. She does have some okay vertical mobility but its not enough. Kind of like macro said, if enemies expect your ultimate, they can combat it really easily.
Mirage is the first one you can play consistently without any major faults. He does need some minor buffs like macro says he does but he's still very helpful. His decoy is useful, his ultimate is helpful, and his invisible revive is situational.
Revenant is meh. His sense is good at scaring enemies and keeping them away from a certain route or point. His ultimate is hard to use because it's highly situational but if it's used correctly, it's great for third partying or rushing with unrelenting force.
Octane is also meh. He has got some insane mobility and his jump pad is good at getting in and out of situations but I mostly just see octane players rush in dumbly. Die. And leave because the rest of the team has a brain.
Fuse is good. I like him. His knuckle cluster is quite good at causing chaos and I haven't really found any usage for his ultimate apart from putting enemies in a bad position. Simple, yet devastating.
Valkyrie is insane in terms of mobility. Her ultimate definitely isn't great but her missiles can be the needed factor for a successful rush. She's highly situational though.
Gibraltar is pretty good because of his arm shield but I haven't found much of a use for his dome shield. It is nice to have as a backup plan though. His ultimate is crazy good both when playing defensively and when playing offensively.
Seer is insane. Wall hacks all the way through and I love his ultimate. Not to mention the nerfs did pretty much nothing. Quick tip: if enemies are in range of your heartbeat scanner, they're in range of your ability.
Pathfinder, just like macro said, is incredible for mobility. In my opinion he might be the best for mobility. He's insanely fun as well.
Rampart is really good. Her walls are so good to have if your sniping and the fact that she can basically be a juggernaut walking around with her minigun with no speed loss makes her nearly god like.
Bangalore is really, really good. Her smoke is meh for flanking but amazing for covering care packages like macro said. Her. Ultimate. Is. So. Good. That stun is so powerful combined with the really decent damage is a recipe for ending your enemies.
Bloodhound is once again wallhacks but faster. He is almost the best scanner and his ultimate pairs so well with Bangalore.
Lifeline is immaculate. Her support is almost unmatched. Her revive is so good and her heal might be a little too fast. Care package is great but could be improved. She's almost a must have.
The man. The myth. The legend. Crypto is literally a god. If you have someone who can play as him really well, he's a hack. (pun not intended) I do agree that his ultimate price is a little to much but it's really useful because of the stun. He is an absolute must have. Make sure you know how to use him though or else he's not gonna be much help.
Ehh, if you play around buildings and sharp corners and are fast enough with your fence placement you can bait people into being stunned by her fences and get a free kill, she's not as useless as you'd think, but she is very map dependent. I would put mirage higher than where macro placed him tho, the invisible res can be countered by spraying the ground in the general direction of the audio, but his ult is massive considering you can get it every round. There is counterplay to his ult as well, if you pay attention you can see which is the real mirage based off of who's arms are glowing, so I wouldn't say hes faultless. But his tac is still pretty much useless, they should make it so when you shoot a decoy you get blinded for half a second

I agree fully and it’s sad to say that as a mirage main but nice to hear as a lifeline secondary

I think fuse is busted in maps where there are two blocks of enemies and one team needs to push ( like phaserunner or party crasher ) he can make the enemy team split up, block pushes, secure kill, help your team pushing with his ultimate and it's very versatile
being a octane and seer main i like to use my tactical to stop resing in octane I use my tactical to come to the middle fast or use it in early fights if I can afford the health its usually a boost if I need to do smth quick

honestly with a bit of practice and planning you can get pretty creative with valk and mirage, for example, you could play a valk-octane-horizon team for speed and get all of the crafting materials first, or use a mirage-bloodhound-bangalore for some visual clutter and infoon the enemies
honestly i never saw anyone else use the bangalore digi threat in arenas so im so glad you've ruined my strategy and now everyone's going to be running digi threats against me

Mirage could do with a buff similar to Yoru's rework in Valorant, where the clone flashes enemies when shot at.
I found out yesterday that caustic and octane is a AMAZING combo you use jump pad then throw a arc star at them then throw the caustic ult and put gas traps on them and they die

If you evenly spread out Fuse's tactical, he is SUCH a pain to fight, you're constantly taking damage, and if they stick you, better start praying because there's a good chance they're gonna push right after

Agree with the list. I tried out Loba when Arenas came out because I'm a Loba main on BR and never touched Arenas until the Rampart Takeover, which I used Seer instead.
