I joined in IIPE college for a project as a JRF and sir they told me that I need to convert into phd..
Sir but I don't have much interest in doing a PhD. Initially I thought I may work in a project which can help me financially and also prepare for the competitive exams.
Sir now I am so confused whether to continue or not.
Sir can you tell me your advice on what to do now.

Sir, I was browsing through IIT Delhi phd brouchre of July 24 admission, & it stated that if a phd candidate desires(meaning if he gets a job, etc.), he can switch his regular phd to part time phd????

I have some more doubts sir: 1) Can we pursue a Distance Course (Graduation, Masters, Diploma, Certificate) with a Regular Ph.D degree? If yes, from which year? 2) Leave provisions during Ph.D. (Maternity/Paternity, Medical, Casual, Exam Preparation etc.)
Distance certified courses can be done during PhD.... because Students pursuing PhD programmes will not be allowed to take two academic degrees simultaneously under University Grants Commission (UGC) new regulation
Maternity paternity leave will be included only and medical
Sir, I've joined phd in a state university in Feb'2024. But I got a central govt. Job as an economic officer in labor bureau. I want to pursue my PhD with job. My supervisor is also ready but University is not allowing as they don't have part-time PhD option. So, what could I do now... Should I cancel my PhD registration & apply somewhere which offers part time option... Or should I ask for temporary withdrawl ?

Then you must apply for part time PhD from any institution or sponsored PhD mode....as all are available in IITs or any university
Sir i am a guest lecturerr in Delhi University ( sri Venkateshwara college) botany department, i had qualified for CSIR NET LS but not jrf last year 2023 , so I started appearing for lectureship interviews , n got selected for guest faculty , now my doubt is that i have also got selected for JRF position job in NIPGR JNU , now i am confused whether there is possibility of converting my jrf position into phd , the project in nipgr is for 5 years , and also will i get salary of both i mean jrf as well as guest faculty bcoz my lectureship job is not yet permanent, please sir help me out, my jrf position job has noy started yet , i got the call for the selection 5 days ago n yesterday i met with the scientist n she knows that i am also working as guest in du, please help me. If there are chance of converting jrf position job into phd n can i get salary of both ( as my lectureship job is not yet permanent) it would be a huge help sir if you clear my doubt
Sir, I am a full-time employee of Patliputra University as a clerk(state govt employee). I qualified NET in Dec 2023 and enrolled as a PhD student at the same university. Can I be promoted to be a teacher?
Offcourse but sometimes internal politics can't allow you to promote at that level...but you will be eligible for any post in India..so don't think at that aspect

Part time PhD you can stay in your working place...only for course work you need to visit university and for submission....

Yes job me study leave milta hai....apply and discuss with someone who will be ready to accept you for a short duration
