The reason why Ashoka is never really discussed within Akbar courts is largely because the memory of Ashoka had vanished by Akbar's time. Ashoka was only rediscovered in the 1920s and 30s by European Archaeologists in India. in other words, a learned Indian in the 19th century wouldn't know Ashoka the great!

Demonising and belittling The Mughals is now a Political and Economic compulsion. The points that have been discussed in this discussion are not extempore but very intelligently chosen.
The physical appearance of Akbar as described can only be believed by those who know nothing about Taimori lineage and have never visited any museums displaying their attires, swords and other items which very well indicate their body structure.
Sad that Ravish Kumar decided to be part of this Drama without having any knowledge of the History.
