I almost bought a small International tractor similar to that one and 4 acres of land back in the mid 80's. The lone was approved on Monday, I picked up the checks on Tuesday, Wednesday I got laid off, Thursday I brought the checks back and been kicking myself in the ass for it every since. Years later I told my dad about it and he said "boy don't you know with that tractor we could have made that land pay for itself. Around here there are two kinds of cash crops you could have grown you could have sold out the back of your truck." And I said spring corn and fall okra. Dad said that's right. And that really hurts. And to make matters worse dad said I would have really enjoyed it. You should have spoke to me about it first. Dad's always right.
As a person who grew up on a dairy farm and ran heavy equipment his whole life.... I LOVE that.
1/2 scale tractors are neat to see at work.

It was neat to see plowing. I have seen half scale IH tractors at shows but never hard at work in the field like this one.
I think I'd like that better than a Kubota or any compact

And that's why the full scale 1206 had a turbo....for better combustion.... as the engine in this half scale model (Kubota?) is labouring with a lot of fuel going up into the air in smoke...
This replica is built for fun making a few passes at a plow day. Fuel consumption is not a worry. I spoke with a builder of 1/2 scale tractors at Red Power Round Up 2021. There was a 1/12 scale 1566 on display. He used a WFE/Iske tractor from the 1980’s. I think this model is also a former Field Boss utility.
