They talked about the difference with the rats in New York City vs California and being on tour with Tyler the Creator, being in studio with DJ Quik, the most important thing to success, his mother, his friendship with Joe Budden, how thoughts on the industry, his influences, Tupac and not liking excuses.

I love this line. I wish more people would heed this advice. You don't have to pander to every living person with ears, and water your music down to appease those who may be fickle to begin with, just make the music you want to make.
Vince has struck a balance between understanding the business of music and also satisfying his creativity. You can really see the progression in his albums from Summertime '06 to now.

He has said before he can’t really connect with anything before the 2000’s. Not that it’s not good but he didn’t live it. It’s a different appreciation when you actually experience it as it’s happening.
Pac is not God lol he ranks on hip hop overall top 5. If someone were to be more specific like lyrics, hits, and topics...he might not make the top 10. It all base on preference, and based on mine I think he's one of the top reality rappers, introspective rappers. Plus his personality and image go with his music.
