Dear Sir. You deserve many more likes. You've explained the confusing topic in really easy way and shown live demonstration of the changes happening in each case of duration. Thanks a lot.
Most welcome. Please share it
but it becomes more confusing when you see the costs because primavera multiply the total productivity with the cost per hour 😭😭😭to solve this problem you need to find cost per unit productivity or to analyze the costs you need to work in hours on primavera 😊😊
السلام علیک یا اخی thank you Dear Sir. You deserve many more likes.

What duration type should preferably be used while making schedule?
Your question is the purpose of the video. Watch it and try to understand what you want from your schedule to produce (the output) to determine the right duration type.
Thanks for sharing your info so much 🙏
But i have 2 questions after the video in my mind.
What is the difference between fixed duration& and fixed duration&units/time? Can you explain it if it is possible with real example?
You said the difference between fixed unit and fixed units/time. In fixed unit/time, we have limited machine productivity compare to fixed units. But they look they work same in the primavera. I mean always duration stays constant in these two duration type. What happens if i choose fixed unit instead of fixed unit/time while i have limited machine productivity because of location situation ?
I couldn't get the differences for those 2 differences exactly 😔
Please watch the video carefully. It answers you. Tip: to find how they work, change the activity type. Tell me after it if you still don't understand it.

Well. I checked the video again and i want to ask one of my questions.
What changes when i choose fixed duration&units or fixed duration & units/time in primavera? In both scenario duration stays constant. In which case i can do a mistake if i choose one of them instead of other one?
Note: i am comparing 1st 2 duration types in primavera. They look they work same.
Did you use the tip above?
@@ZAlbasirEPPM i changed activity type as resource dependent instead of task dependent, but they still work same :( what i should do to compare them exactly?
Now follow the video
