Worlds Fair Nano (worldsfairnano.com) is a 2-day future festival. Much like the Worlds Fairs of old, the goal of WFN is to connect everybody with the future. The organizers behind Worlds Fair Nano plan to grow Nano from 2 days and 10,000 people into a 6 month Worlds Fair in the U.S.

"Cybernetics is the art of getting what you want" - he said the quite part out loud 😆

what he said is half true, whats hes saying about cybernetics is true, but so are the things that he discounted, and excluded. in my opinion, this was a good introduction to a much ignored portion of cybernetics. feed back loops are interesting, there was plenty of research done involving feedback loops and mind control. i think there should be more videos made on this.

Yuck it’s sorta an insult to his degree of knowledge, for you to quote Stanford Beer, and not give him credit. After all, it’s where you got your information.

Straight up. Wrote plenty of books on cybernetics (I.e 'management cybernetics', 'designing freedom', 'diagnosing the system for organization', ect..). Ever implemented concepts of homeostasis theory on a socio-economical level in Chile 🇨🇱 ... until the C.I.A didn't like it and ultimately put an end it to (with the help of the Chicago boys).

I'm 75% through this lecture... ahem... and no mention of Stafford Beer. This is not true cybernetics. He is rockin and rollin in his grave.

He also quoted Stanford Beer several times without giving him credit!!! This guy is all about the new digital gmo human. We are analog beings.

this man knew Beer and Pask personally. It's the same school of thought. You should go read things other than Beer. He is brilliant but much of his reasoning comes from Pask and Ashby.

Have you ever heard of Stuart Lichtman who studied at MIT and wrote the book How to Get Lots of Money for Anything Fast with is a system of getting what you want by CLEARING the resistance in the unconscious mind.

he worked with Pask and Beer so he doesnt need to quote them, people should assume knowledge of where this came from, Paul was Pask's advisee

Feedback has been a feature of engineering for at least a century. This presentation is a load of pseudo intellectualized, name dropping BS riding on the work on actual innovators.
