This song is so beautiful. It is the song when I lost "my girl" that I use to honor and remember her. It has been 6 years now and obviously time has helped heal the pain but this is still special to me.

The guitar's plugged in with overdrive on the amp, so hitting it on the floor like that's a cool visual, but it also causes that cool creepy dissonant sound.

Mike Esposito I like to do something similar where I turn up volume and reverb and hit the body of my guitar fairly hard. It plays a cool ambient sound and if your fingers fret a chord (do not strum!) it will make that chords sound so you can even get a little melody out of it

After spending the 4th of July in jail for wanting to give evidence to the police I spent half a day in court hoping to get a court appointed attorney hoping to save my son and get DNA… the judge ordered me an attorney yet they are claiming they have no and both dates they offered me for my next court date is after the closest I will be able to get to you… he has been cutting off his hair to destroy evidence
He has denied me vehicles and proper healthcare and has already not taken his son to medical appointments that would have done blood work to try and find out what had him acting erratically and unable to get out of bed for 3 days while hoping to have me locked away for a month, but they couldn’t keep me locked up cause NO DRUGS WERE IN MY SYSTEM especially not the 1000s of medications that were missing…
And I’m still learning how to SPEAK AGAIN!!! Cause after I nursed my son back to health he was able to poison me AGAIN

Nothing more disgusting then coming for a great performance by The National, only to have Lena Dunham pop up on my screen first
I want to like these guys, I really do. But I can't help but find them pretty boring. Their songs have little to no chorus.
