Can somebody help me out ! I'm searching for the guitar sound off the intro what Bryce Dessner plays. Or maybe is there somybody who can find a foto off his pedalboard he used for the last album Thanks
+MrChielo Hey man, he is using a slide, thats why it has that nice liquid quality and kinda just glides in, and I would guess he's running that into a proco rat and delay/reverb, to give it some more space
You can see that in the "Trouble will fine me era", Matt had put on some weight. It was the time he quit smoking and then the anxiety make you eat more, I think
I've always appreciated Letterman's fondness for good rock music.
I think Paul Shaffer may have something to do with that. Good taste in any case.
You can tell how much Dave likes the bands by the compliments he gives them at the end of the performance.
You can always tell when dave is truelly impressed or just doing his job
And if you want to see ME cry, just play this performance because it's that fucking beautiful.
Play "Let it be" or nevermind
@@Ollivier10x56 I think it's 'play "Let it Be" or "Nevermind"'
@@Lynner25 Precisely. The Beatles or Nirvana.
That backing quartet is ACES.
These guys are so professional, in the very best way.
The "ahh" part is so good lol

Just Beautiful)
Espectacular
Dudes playing the horn and the piano at one time. Talent much?
This video's title is funny to me.. it's like the song title is "Don't Swallow the Cap on Letterman"
For some reason I love seeing Letterman lurking in the shadows at 2:32.
Brilliant!!
🖤
Bellissimo e loro sono bravissimi
'69 Lennon on drums
Wow❤️
Dave and Paul should do a music centered talk show
pretty sure the violin player on the bottom left of the quartet was part of bon iver's band when they were touring.
+Noval yeah it's rob moose!
That’s a band with something to say!
Matt looks like the long-lost younger brother of Letterman @4:22
Tuonglono or Bryan Cranston.
🌌
Renato Russo definitivamente aprobaría esta canción. Esto ya lo hizo Legiao Urbana hace mas de 30 años.
Lots of people dont realize the bass player and drummer are also twins. Two sets of twins in this amazazing band.
Scott and Bryan aren't twins.
for realz!? they had me fooled.
@@aaronlee8838 They are brothers though.
@@FirstnameLastname-kn5sw i knew they had to be related in some way. Their body langue is very similar... and bone structure. lol
