  • Apologies from the editor for the errors in the graphics. We had one job and somehow we did it wrong! Anthony Albanese's second naming occurred on 24 March 2004.
The shorten video can be found here: • Video .
Standing Order 94 (b) specifies that,
"The Speaker can name a disorderly Member. Immediately following a naming, on a motion being moved, the Speaker shall put
the question-- 'That the Member be suspended from the service of the House. The question must be resolved without amendment, adjournment or
    debate."
Naming is a parliamentary procedure available for the Speaker for a tougher punishment than Standing Order 94(a), where the member is suspended from the House for 24 hours instead of just 1 hour. As shown with Wayne Swan's second naming, if a member has been named twice during the same year, they are suspended for three sittings.
Naming involves the Speaker intentionally breaking parliamentary tradition by using the member's "name" rather than their division - even though Speakers tend to say: "I name the member for X."
The list of namings shown in video can be found here!
    Anthony Albanese (Member for Grayndler)
    - 21 March 2002
    - 24 March 2004
    - 20 November 2007
    Scott Morrison (Member for Cook)
    - 17 September 2009
Tony Abbott (Former Member for Warringah)
    - 14 September 2009
Wayne Swan (Former Member for Liley)
    - 6 March 2003
    - 13 May 2003
    - 23 June 2014
    - 17 March 2016
NOTE: While it appears Labor MPs get named for more often than Coalition MPs, this is because it is very rare for government MPs to be named by the Speaker. Andrew Laming, the Member for Bowman, is so far the only government MP to have been named in the 21st century.

What a jerk David Hawker was. Didn’t even allow Albo to get a say and just names him. An embarrassment is being nice.
