same.. his voice draws me in. I saw Bon Iver at Primavera 2017 and he has this ability to completely silence the crowd. 🤯
@@rogrdotnet I was fortunate to see him on back to back nights in Birmingham and Atlanta last year and they were two of the top experiences of my life.
I saw him in Portland this last May and tears just filled my eyes the whole time. I have had a crazy year and Justin has been by my side through it all. It was truly beautiful. I will always love him .

i went to Berlin for PEOPLE and this alone was worth the price of my trip. and i almost missed it. i happened to be walking by the shedhall to get ice cream when i heard the choir and went running inside. at first it was just the choir alone singing the song. after they finished, Justin came out and this happened. it was incredible.

Both people festivals at the funkhaus were some of the most amazing musical experiences of my entire life, and being *exactly* by the little stage right when they started coming up and basically seeing this performance standing there amongst them was the peak of both experiences. I often randomly think about it. I'd somehow missed you put the video up, thanks so much.
I had the immense chance to see some of Cantus Domus perform a few songs with Damien Rice during a night with La Blogothèque, it was magical, and now, this? Phew.

This is nice but not as captivating as with The Staves in Sydney, at least to me. Look it up if you haven't seen that performance, it's pure magic.
That's true, the other performance is heavenly (pardon the pun). But the crazy thing about this performance was that you had no way of knowing when or where it was going to happen.
I was just strolling around the festival when people were rushing into the hall so I walked in and saw them there, just starting the song.
Because I'd seen clips of the rehearsal I knew this was happening at SOME point... Just had no idea when! I was watching Damien Rice when my mate texted and I legged it over to the hall and got to the front. Feel so lucky to have been a part of this festival but especially lucky for being able to experience this moment!

I thought Vernon's actual individual singing was more raw here but the acapella 'background' (pardon my music terminology ignorance) was better from The Staves. Either way, glad there's another iteration of this in acapella form, can't get enough
