  • How can you use the same pattern over and over for different sizes without having to rebuy? Trace the pieces on tracing paper first before making. This is fairly new to me and as I learn I will share with you.

don't forget to number pattern pieces, identify folds, all markings from original pattern pieces, and how many times you cut the piece out; if it is a front or back piece; grain lines

Thank you for adding this, I didn’t realize I had overlooked that. I would like to believe I would have pointed this out once I did a full pattern. I appreciate your comment.

@diywithjeanne6259 I just thought I would add this comment as you stated you are a newbie when it comes to sewing, I have been sewing for 60 years and when I teach someone new they don't always remember to copy over all the info from original enjoy

I appreciate any help. I have seen for years, but this year I want to try to make clothes that look less home made and I want to actually do things the right way. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, seriously
