For those who are wondering the translation/pronunciation of Gaming, his Chinese name (嘉明) is pronounced as "Jia-ming" in Mandarin Chinese (spoken in the video) and "Ga-ming" in Cantonese. Since he is the "lion-dance boy", and lion dance is a traditional Cantonese art, his name (as well as his companion Man Chai) is translated based on the Cantonese pronunciation.
That awkward moment when the Chinese audio won't respect the Cantonese form but English will. Even Enhi would get confused.

As a side note, I wanted to say that the "mask" he's wearing is a part of a costume for a traditional dance in China that is generally done during the chinese new year. When I was in elementary, we used to do these dances, which are very fun, and require a lot of mobility, which gives me so much respect for GaMing for being able to literally FIGHT like this :D

This is my VERY FIRST LANTERN RITE EVENT IN THE GAME!!! this is absolutely amazing and literally gave me chills. I am beyond excited and just blown away about all these new things coming into the game. I’m not very far in the game I JUST made it to Inazuma as a new character 😅! BUT I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!

I'm sorry bro but you are delusional if you think thats fine. And this "positivity" is the sole reason why players will never get payed back for all their support to the game. Look at Star Rail or heck even Honkai Impact 3rd. You get there free 5* and a lot of wishes because they show gratitude to their community, can't say the same about Genshin... When I heard about the Skin Selector I was so hyped up for the patch because Genshin finally started to give back just to hear that the Skin Selector is only in China and you have to pay 500 bucks for it like holy fridge just pull out the stick out of your a** and wake up that your time and effort is not acknowledged!

I love Genshin Impact but we all know the Dev team is just screwing with us at this point. Ever since the game producer of Honkai Imapct 3rd shifted over to Genshin he brought it's old stinginess with him, and HI3 massively uped player rewards and Quality of Life updates.
Did I like TecTones 4.4 trailer review? Well no, he overall says it's mid, but I digress, this is my first Lantern Rite, I'm Hella excited regardless of rewards. But his video on the CN community fiasco, 100% with him. The Internarional community has just given up on expecting better rewards after the Anniversary fiasco, but CN players, they know what shit is up. And even though CN is a third of their revenue, Miyoho doesn't mess with their home base players. This livestream may have been the tipping point but the scales were already so heavy with HSR getting their very free and very meta single boss DPS Dr. Ratio, meanwhile Genshin players will need to grind through Chenvyu vale to get a majority of primogems if they so desire.
I agree that some people are just hating on the game. With Tectone it feels like that just because of his manner of speech, but he is absolutely right in that they are draining the magic that Genshin had at the very start.
I hope the CN outrage inspires people abroad to do something as well, just imagine a combination of Lantern Rite fiasco and Anniversary fiasco, that would have Genshin devs shaking.
And I do hope that International players get the same rewards as CN players do, because we deserve no less.
I don't expect a free Cloud Retainer, or even a free standard 5 star selector, but the least they could do is free 90 pulls via in game mail. It may not be the best, but it is a start.

honestly this is the first time to see a moving boat in-game, LIKE IN-GAME, i do hope we got more of these or update boats animations in regions like fontaine
like they're moving in and out then docking in and out, or like npc's shipping in and out boxes or stuff
but OFC the performance or something idk... to consider especially mobile devices, it might use CPU a lot too because of real time movements
Ohhh...GaMing looks amazing! The Lion Dance is always one of my favorite parts of Lunar New Year.
I am probably pulling for Cloud Retainer and hopefully get a couple of GaMings...but my 4 star luck is bad.

Sadly my PS5 ain't working and my laptop is old AF so I'll have to miss her and ga-ming 🥲 her and ga-ming's gameplay looked so cool I hope they'll have a rerun in summer time or something especially for the new players who don't have that many wishes

I haven't finished the stream but I remember there being a mention in Fontaine about how we had gone the LONG way to get to Fontaine by going through the desert! That most people travel through Liyue to get to Fontaine's ports, so having a fusion of water and Liyue elements makes a lot of sense if this is the case!!
A series of excitement is burning inside me while watching this live stream
7/10 special for me. The new area looks HUGE which i'm digging. I'm interested in Gaming and Xianyun since they'll add some variety for plunging attack teams. I'm a little underwhelmed by the skins tbh. Xinqiu is still wearing some dorky looking shorts and Shenhe and Ganyu's skins are really sticking to the "black/dark blue formal wear" that all the Liyue character skins seem to be. It'll probably be a fine patch but I think the biggest improvement is the new artifact-equipping system.
As a developer, I feel their sighs lol shit is too hard to implement but we persevere!!
Although it’s slow Bsc they want drag it out that said how they been changing the system and how the game play now feel so much smoother than before (I played a new account) the grind is much smoother to me and thing now are much easier. The exploring theme is there of course that’s a given but they give small access to bosses, new way point unlock for story slowly but sure artifact.
It’s been really good 4.0 till now all the small changes making thing so much easier and nicer to play.
Looking forward to the new area !

Personally, I'm excited for literally everything in 4.4, apart from that one forced co-op minigame. Idk about others, but I absolutely despise forced co-op events like that, cuz there's always that one player who is needlessly sweaty and makes the whole thing unfun, so I'll just play it until I get the rewards and never touch it again. I wish these minigames weren't forced co-op.
I agree. I always, ALWAYS avoid co-op cause I'm just not the type to play with random people. Windtrace looks like a nightmare for me and I'll never touch it. There's also the whole anxiety thing of not knowing who is streaming and if you'll end up in someone's YT video now. I'm not that great at certain things so I don't want hundreds or thousands of people seeing me make a fool of myself lmao

I feel like there’s not really any chance to talk to these people during co-op for most of them except during that hide and seek one. Maybe I’m just different and haven’t seen the bad side. I haven’t had bad experiences in co-op so far. Everybody is usually pretty nice and polite! There’s been a couple who aren’t but majority has been very nice

Based on recent experience, I think chances aren’t very high about ending up in someone’s CZcams videos? You’ll mostly run into people who are looking for certain items or are bored and would like to run around and maybe help you with a quest you are stuck on! Which is something that I like to do at times in co-op. Help people find treasure they may have missed!

I'm def gonna try for Cloud Retainer but I don't have high hopes since I pulled for c2 Raiden.
I wander what they gonna do for Mondstadt Windblume festival in spring time and then is Inazuma events and summer holidays- are we going back to golden archipelago or repeat from last year? The next area is Natlan, so it should be something to introduce Natlan, the oasis seams more closely to it… but unrelated to it, so it might be something completely new either… dandelion sea we are going to visit before shneznaya instead of Archipelago,
Spring time they should realised another area: Sumeru or Dorman port but Sumeru is more related to Fontaine, while Dorman port is rather connection to Sneznaya…
Not pulling for anyone for 4.4 saving up for pryo archon. But i can’t wait to have fun with the new events and explore the new area. And also do the new story quest and defeat the new boss. This will be my first lantern right festival of the year.

im going for nahida yae miko and xiao, such stacked banners and i wish ga ming was in phase 2 because if i lost the 50/50 id keep pulling and i would have a higher chance to c6 him, but ill probably get him while im pulling for nahida which i have already prefarmed all her ascension mats and a couple of her talent mats and aswell as her artifacts but the characters im most excited for is nahida, yae miko and ga ming i feel so impatient but its only like 10 days till nahida and ga ming is out so its not that bad
