I take some bean sprouts, saute them with some shredded cabbage and onion.. add some soya sauce and once cooked, I let it cool. Then I scramble up 2 eggs, add some of the sprout/cabbage mix and make my own egg foo young. Sooo good.
Do you make homemade soup? With all the veggies that you can get for such a great reduced price, you'd sure be eating for cheap. I put pumpkins out in the garden and yard to add to the Fall decor, and before the heavy freezing weather, I take them to my girlfriends chicken farm and she feeds them to the chickens. 💗

I’m a big fan of Navel oranges and I agree they have been super sour for most of this year. I got some in Tesco the other day though and they were really good
Falafel’s great (I’m not an excessively wet food person, and I hate anything mushy) but they do need a good sauce with them. My sister is an advocate for microwaved jacket spuds, I need crispy skin on them though so I just bulk cook a bag full, double wrap them in foil and freeze them
I find jackfruit absolutely unpleasant. Again it’s a texture thing for me
If in doubt throw cheese on it. Makes anything taste better 😅😅😂

Glad your feeling better Imo, I’m trying to be healthier as since I broke my foot I have been a bit inactive so I think I need to watch my calories a bit. When I do my shopping list I always try and remember the layout of the shop so I don’t end up going all over the place lol it works sometimes.

My Asda is miles away so i dont go in there very often , but what a lot of good bargins in the reduced isle , so i will have to make time out to pop to mine :) hopefully things will slow down a bit from your gigs and you can then relax a little bit more, lovely also to hear that Izzy is doing well take care Imo and look forward to some more of your vlogs x :)
Hi imo they got some great Halloween decorations in asda this year we just lit the log burner today 0 deg this morning we cut our used pumpkins up and put some on the bird table they seem to like it all the best donny xx

Jackfruit is really nice, but I’ve lived in Asia, and just had it on its own as a fruit, not as part of a meal, so to speak. I have seen burgers with jackfruit I think, I don’t know how they would taste.
According to the label on the tin it soaks up the flavours of whatever you cook it with. :)

I never realize that about the milk curling, but I’m visually impaired. I always put the milk in last, when you say you put it in first, and you’re making instant coffee, do you just have your hot water and then put the milk in and then put the coffee in?
Yeah, for instant I put in coffee powder, then non-dairy milk, then hot water. You would know if it was curdled as it tastes more like black coffee with squishy bits in. The taste and texture are different. Thanks so much. x
That was a large skein of yarn. Your good prices make me sigh. The gummy spiders ooh boy. Many won't want those. My disabled lady friend fed us dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets yesterday. First time ever for me. You get some great ready meals there I have never seen here. What does it cost to ride a bus there back and forth without some kind of pass?

Good to see you are feeling better Imo, I know you are not vegan...but maybe you could try vegan cheese if you see it on offer...that way you can have cheese but you are still reducing your dairy intake...on another matter..."I'm trying to eat more healthily..." pops a packet of Turkish delight into the trolly...LOL, what are you like?
