- Hello and welcome to my Saturday. I'm cooking a stir fry for my lunch today and then it's time for an early departure for my ceilidh gig this evening. We're off to Evesham to a really remarkable venue with beautiful grounds, that I luckily get enough time and daylight to be able to explore. The weather has definitely taken a turn, though - it's getting colder, for sure. I'm out in my big warm coat and it's finally time to put the heating on when I get home.

I thought maybe when you stepped over that pretty brick arch you would step back into time like the show Outlander..How wonderful that would of been. Starting to get cold here as well. You have had a lot of gigs lately. So glad it picked up for you post Covid. We have been quite busy here with our Grandkids who had Fall Break from school last week.

That was a lovely venue. I suspect it is quite old and was actually somebody's house at one time. Those buildings can be expensive to own and maintain. They seem to become commercial venues to cover costs. Cheers

I’ve been learning Italian on Duolingo for about the last 18 months. Finding that relatively easy, I’ve also now started Irish lessons. Even with Irish family and decent knowledge, getting your head around spelling vs pronunciation is 🤯

I always say, "cor blimey, crikey moses and flippin 'eck...ask Mick what they mean!!! My mum and dad would never allow swearing when I was a kid and so this is what we said. Also, although they were not religious we were not allowed to take the Lords name in vain - incase we upset someone who was religious, so instead of saying "Jesus Christ!" they would say " Cheese and Rice!!"...nice memories...

After you talking about rust on your microwave recently I've been checking ours. They're is some paint peeling off the lip when you open the door.
Gave it is usually clean today and realised all the paint is peeling off the roof of the microwave and is likely falling in food. We've now bought another one.
Was that fungus dead man's fingers? Couldn't quite see.
