@@Techtablets yes it's surprising to me they don't get more notice and placings in comparisons (eufi, roomba, etc)... i think a lot of those 'comparisons' are sponsored (i.e., fake)
For house with multiple floors, do we need to carry the dock to each of the floor before cleaning
Thank you for the review! this is so helpful. I read somewhere that the water tank on this machine is very small (80 ml? ). In your testing, did you see it run back to the base station a lot ?
Hi the build in vac tank isn’t very large but it’s only to wet the mops and then it all depends how you set that in the app. So it will go back to clean the mops and then resume cleaning. But we have some control over this via the settings that least.
I did get scared when it started getting the trash out in my home so I found this vid😊
It does give you a fright. First time my wife hear it trigger she freaked out.

It seems very similar to the RoboRock S7 MaxV. I’m in the UK and we can’t really get roborock so really considering this

This is a Xiaomi MIJIA inside. You can also get the MIJIA with a self cleaning and emptying base station, so you only have to change the dust bag.

Often parts are interchangeable with the other Dreame models. Does it look like this would be the case with the main brush? The D9 brush would address your concern regards hair pick-up.
Looks like we could swap it for a brush one. I'll have to check on the exact fit.
The robot vacuum is excellent. However I have a question. Is it possible in the app to set it NOT to use the brush and only set it to sucktion? We just got new hardwood floors and its recommend not to use a brush on them. Short of removing the brush can this be done in the App?
You set it just to mop and remove the brush it will vacuum but without sweeping the results are not very good. Tomorrow I will have my review of the new 10S Plus model with a silicon brush which should be easier on the floors.
I liked the look of the Nawel Freo, but Narwel say no plans to sell in the UK. So its this or the cheaper Xiaomi version (Omi 2). However Dreame are about to launch the L20 which looks very interesting and as the same edge mooping as the Newal
That's disappointing it's not coming to the UK. I have the L20 Ultra and it's very good video coming soon. So my bet is your best alternative is yes the L20.
i notice after each mop time, the robot disperse dirty water into the dirty water tank but the amount of water is very very little? is it normal? cleaning around is around 70m2

Good information, but one question please. I don't see anywere. When doing the mapping and a sofa is detected, what happens underneath, does it not clean if fits obviously ? Thank you.
If it fits it will clean it but if not only go around it.

How much hair out of total on the carpet did it lift? Mop 2s has only 2200 Pa and leaves quite enough hair, interesting if due to power of the test vacuum, it lifts drastically more
The issue is more the lack of bristles on the main brush with this model, it can leave a few hairs behind on carpets. But on hard floors this didn't happen.
Do a top 5 robot vacuum video please
No plans to do that, a lot of work testing them etc.

This one lifts the brushes which is important if you have carpet and I'd rather the rotating brushes, which leaves this one pretty much...
How does this compare with Roborock Q Revo?
Nice review as always. I still use a neato connect (first Gen connected vacuum robot) but my wife ask for a mopping one. I don't have any carpet, do you think it's worth the high price? Is there other cheaper but good alternatives?
It's a good mopping robot for sure but there are other options from Dreame that have lidar and drag about a microfiber cloth to mop instead of this style of vac.
I'll also have soon a dedicated mopping robot with lidar that only mops, it's cheaper but only mops.
Welcome! I bought such a machine! How can you set the mop to wash thickly? Rinse once after 18 square meters, but the mop is dry by then. :(
You have the option in the application to get it to rinse it more since I have a small place it’s not been an issue. Also via the application set the mop to be more wet to start with. Overall what do you think of it? I’m a bit disappointed by the AI not avoiding usb cables other than that it’s been doing an awesome job around the house cleaning.
if the mop is dry after 18 sqm, the automatic filling of the internal tank does not work properly. You can find solutions to this in internet forums

Having tested both the Roborock Q Revo is a better machine. But more expensive.
Can u not use the automated dust empty fuction so you will not need to buy new bags? Instead I dump the waste away directly from the robot like any other vacuum?!
Yes you can set it not to auto empty and manually do that yourself.

It will work still without it if it runs out.
You can use other cleaners to refill the cleaning cartridge.

I mean do you always do what people tell you to do and pay what they tell you to pay? You can totally use other cleaning solutions and you can use just water. Cleaning solutions are not that big a deal.
