You see, I was expecting to love David Tennant, I love Crowley in the book and looked like the best fit for the role. He was. What I was not expecting was that Aziraphale would be such a treasure ! I loved him the whole way through, and he overtook the brilliantly played Crowley as my favorite character. I didn't know Michael Sheen before, but I am SO glad they casted him.
Huge credit to Michael Sheen, but we cannot ignore that Neil Gaiman decided to change the character for TV (possibly for Michael Sheen too) - because Michael is given so much winsome material - and although different from the book - it is different in a most pleasing way!
