Hey lovelies, in this video we are playing with some Polymer Clay and stamps to create some fun Halloween pendants and keyrings. I am using a mixture of polymer clay in different colours. I am then using Halloween rubber stamps to stamp on to my polymer clay and emboss my polymer clay with the stamped images. I am by no means a professional polymer clay artist and know very little about the art however when it comes to relaxation and creating, Polymer Clay is up there as one of the most relaxing crafts. I am using UV Resin to top coat the pieces you can use any varnish and therefore this can be a resin free project. STAMPS ARE LINKED IN AMAZON STOREFRONTS UNDER STAMPS

I have polymer clay from the early 90's. Old colors that retired decades ago. They are fine!! As long as you keep the clay in a dark cool area. The easiest way to bring it back to life is to chop it all up into small bits, put it all into a baggie and add NO MORE than 4-5 drops ( per 2 oz block) of mineral oil, or baby oil. Move the bag around to coat the clay and let it sit for 2-3 days. Wearing gloves empty the bag and squeeze it into a ball and try rolling it out until you can run it through your pasta machine. IF IT IS STILL HARD chop it up again and start again. I love your videos and beautiful crafts! 😍

Love these! Another tip or trick to elevate your keychain/earring pieces made of polymer clay is to place them on a metal domed surface like a metal soap bar and stretch some clingfilm over it to "round" the edges down. Remove cling and bake on domed surface. Makes a tactile smooth surface. Like one of those "worry" stones.
I love this ... I've been told this before and I think it absolutely would be soooo beautiful 😍 I just worry about the resin top coat pouring off ... how do you combat this? 😍😍😍
You might want to use high viscosity UV resin, it should stay in place long enough to cure.

Polymer clay; ☑️ yet I’m still trying to figure it all out. Cut myself w/blade ☑️. I purchased a package with handles on the side. I didn’t know stamping could be done on the clay & turn out beautifully. I was doing background noises; Oooo Aaaaah, Wooow! 🫶🏻🙌🏻
As soon as I saw the stamps, I thought you were going to EMBOSS the stamps onto the clay. But they came out lovely anyway!

Claire no word of a lie....when you find crumbly clay as you did....place it in cling wrap and sit down and watch a movie ! But also....place the clay between your thighs during the movies and it will become soft and ready to mould after the movie is over !!! It just needs warmth !! Try it lol

These look absolutely fantastic Claire!! I was literally doing a craft room clean/organize/throw out today and I came to my 2 drawers of polymer clay and was sooo close to throwing it all out but my gut feeling was no, you'll regret it. Now it's the evening and I am watching this, I'm so happy I kept them. Also yes, you can get glow in the dark polymer clay. Your pendants turned out so brilliantly and alongside the bottles and tassles!! AHHH!!! EPIC!! My fav is def the top right in your last frame. Congratulations hun, these turned out soooo well!
I didn’t read all of the comments so if someone has already said this I’m sorry. When your clay is soft use a cocktail straw or a regular straw to make a hole so much easier and less dangerous
