Hello guys, kindly subscribe and like the video. Thank you all.
From 2005 first one 🎉🎉
PESA also means GIVE in LINGALA
M-Pesa was the first Mobile Money Transfer in the World. From Kenya 🇰🇪 to the world!! Karibu Kenya.
It is an amazing game changer. I’m loving it ✅
Cash app?
@@idkhow6772understand both, history, extent of usage, spread etc, then u can pose your question. Be informed.
@@idkhow6772nope ..all clones of M-pesa
We know. The world does too🤔
Mpesa was the first mobile money app in the world. Mobile money all started in Kenya 🇰🇪 ❤
Westlands has changed so much so fast. When I grew up there in the 90s and early 2000s it was a cool residential area with a few family shops and the market. Sarit Center was the big deal then. There was even a small post office near the one ice cream shop. Now it's a whole commercial district.
Ikr
Totally… it’s so Ghetto now…
It’s happening in Kilimani too 😭
Kenya is truly a magical country. There have been many changes in the world!
Where are you?
In italy and u?

Did you know that M-Pesa was the 1st form of mobile money transaction globally? All other payment platforms like AliPay, PayPal, GooglePay etc borrowed from it.
I reacted strongly, eti just to prevent counterfeiting. Sijui ni mkenya gani alimpea stori hii ya jaba, lol.

Amazing place.
That was the first Mall in Nairobi if am not wrong.I remember going tthere after school way back in the 80,s..
That was the second mall in Nairobi after yaya center
It's an old mall constructed in 1983 but still remains one of the biggest and best. They have done well to maintain it for all these years.
@@thomashinga3260 When was Yaya built? Sarit opened in 83
@@thomashinga3260 Sarit is the oldest mall in Kenya. Yaya was built after.
@@citysk True. I watched Sarit get constructed from scratch, in my primary school days. 1983. The "City within a city" as they called it. The Yaya Centre didn't exist until YEARS later.
Thanks allot, Nairobi is one of the best cities in africa
Definitely one of my favourite places thus far ✅
Just to save you from trouble, do not film in every mall because not all of them allow filming and also do not film around government facilities
Thank you
I’m aware.
But that is a free marketing
Not anymore, you are free to do it in most places
@@edwardmkwelelesecurity is more important than marketing
good job love the way how u show the world how our kenya is. and i have just subscribed

In Kenya we are cashless, we don't need money in our wallets at all, we pay from phone in every corner of the country....very easy and safe, i think for the last 20years or more if am not wrong
I absolutely love the system ✅

The Sarit Centre was opened in 1983. You call it a modern mall around 1:05 which is not the case.

Beautiful Nairobi.. love from Zimbabwe.. why is the mall surrounded by a wall like that
I guess the architect will have better answers for you 😊
Many malls have different designs and it was built in the 80s
@@tymelondon 😂😂OK thanks
@@LadyAnak okay thanks
Sarit is one of the oldest malls in Kenya. They’ve really tried to modernize it by adding a new section that’s more modern.
Bro I’m from ends was just in Kenya last week I could have took you around
Eve's got a beautiful soul, oh she's getting business A40.
What was the deal with the lady outside? Am certainly keeping clear off that shop.
Kenya is great
Here’s my 2 cents. Just like we don’t have to have a visa to travel within the Americas and Caribbean the same concept should apply to Africa. Now say for example you are coming from the USA one visa should suffice to get you on the content. But once on the continent you should not need another visa. And if a person wants to relocate to the continent then they be able to do that if they can prove they have a way to support themselves with either a job, investments, purchase real estate or start a business. There is another yt couple who’s visa for South Africa was denied even though they paid their lease for 1 year in advance, supposed proof they have investments that will last them for more then 4 years ( visa requested was for 4 years) and the wife has a job which she is 100% remote! SA embassy said their income had to come from a pension or social security.
I agree.
@@tymelondonvery soon it’s gonna be visa free for Africans from the diaspora
I just don’t seem to get his accent he it’s not a typical British Caribbean accent. It’s got African mix
That’s the riddle 😊
You know what, one can tell if someone has a fake accent when they exaggerate vowels and are too careful on pronunciation. Some try to speak through their noise and last but not least when they struggle to maintain the fake accent.
nice vlog
Thank you.
Very respectful content creator👊
Thanks for sharing with us I really like to visit there with children it’s amazing we’ll done 💃

Most of the times sarit they don't allow filming vlog inside their mall i don't know how you winned them 😢😢😢
They have 4G/5G network
You have been ripped off. 3 sim cards is 300 KES only
Filming in malls is not allowed. Next time you could be arrested and some few thousands of shillings extorted from you.
I’m aware
Thank you.
Not all malls.. you can film in most malls
Unless you're continuously filming everything and everyone but filming yourself ain't a big deal..
Kenyans are starting to get used to seeing vloggers these days.
Just film, don't mind these scare stories. If the mall people ask you not to film, then stop, otherwise carry on. And these stupid caveats about filming in malls should stop. We can't stop living our lives just because some terrorists attacked a mall.
My country and I have never visited Westland 😢😢😢
What are you doing in Nairobi, London man...enjoy Kenyan. That's my home origin. 🇬🇧🇰🇪
Just exploring Kenya a lil bit 😊

Very good stuff - I plan on going to Nairobi from USA next year so I did'nt know about the mpesa. I plan on staying in a air bnb - can you recommend a good area to stay?
Depends on your budget. Kilimani and Westlands for high budget. Ngara for close proximity to CBD at a reasonable rate
I can help you get one
Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪
I can host you. Why pay more and am here?
Westlands and kilimani area have the best BNBS

If only more black kenyans owned this kind of places
Next visit the village market
Former us president ushagoo😊
It's way more beautiful than London. It's grey, cloudy and rainy there.
What do u mean concrete jungle
Eve was nice
visit BBS mall the biggest mall in Africa
I will try visiting it.
Nuuh, just many indoor shops. In this day and age, quality of life is key. So, outdoor spaces and activities like gardens, rivers, walking trails, etc define a good 'large' or 'big' mall. BBS ain't anywhere close to meeting the size of two rivers, garden city, village market etc. Just many crammed up shops in an enclosed area
ur tour guide made me laugh, he also don't know his city well
I know, right? 😊
I don't like how that petty lady snubbed u
How on earth did u manage to cross the road whilst filming in front of a cop? Another day u find yourself in court very early next morning.
I’m a magician 😊
I have been to both and i can see they do have some similarities!
Bro why did you leave Beyonce home?
Mpesa isnt a fake money as such.... It's cashless payment, but without a bank account
