    Aibo I don't mind the length of your videos. I love a deep dive into my new main. I think Victor is fun and can offer some complexity into his gameplay. Unfortunately I'm not very good at WR execution so I'm unable to take full advantage of Victor's WR2. Just a side note.

    One character that is really weak to powercrushes is actually Steve Fox, lots of his moves force him into lionheart stance (the one where he shuffles his feet back and forth). Unless he goes in at like +10 or better every option from the stance loses to any powercrush or rage art (and even then only like the unrewarding fast option wins against a generic powercrush). He can’t block in the stance so if he wants to not lose to a powercrush he has to cancel it and then block and lose his turn if you didn’t go for it.
    At least he has like by far the best guard crush that isn’t heat only out of it, but against characters with a safe powercrush it basically doesn’t exist because the risk reward goes like this:
    1. you powercrush and hit him and now it’s your turn and you get damage.
    2. You powercrush and he cancels the stance and blocks and therefore he gets to continue his turn.
    3. You don’t powercrush and take the high-guardbreak into decent damage, safe mid to catch ducking mixup.
    4. You don’t power crush and he cancels the stance and just sits there blocking like an idiot while he loses his plus frames.
    Against characters without a safe powercrush it’s a little bit less stupid but you still basically get a mixup on him during his offense lol, especially since you will be armoring his move and gaining the bonus properties like Victor’s heat engager.

    Informative as always.
    Just an idea maybe. Im trying to find practical ways to set up his unblockable sword move. I don’t see lots of victors use it so I know it must be bad but that makes me wanna be different and find some use for it lol would be cool to know your thoughts and if you could think of any setups where it could be used practically. Thanks! 🙏

    • @tkaibo
      @tkaibo  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Dude I've been trying so hard to find practical setups but the startup on the unlockable is so slow.... Perhaps there is a way to set up the unblockable on a tech roll situation where you modify the end of the wall combo with UF1,1 cancel?
      I will look into this more!

    Excellent! I just look at B1+2 as an i7 option for easy math in the moment, same thing as your 6 rule just diff angle. Vic combo optimization vid next?

    I found out a set up for back 1 from stance that actually puts you close enough. It’s so funny when it lands people are like wtf.Perfum 1> down 1+2> back 1 . It’s wild try it out

  • @davide4607
    @davide4607 Před 3 měsíci +2

    Great video! So my takeaway is that the high/mid crush properties of b1+2 start on frame 6 of the move, so it will be countered if an attack hits you on frames 1-5 of the startup, is that right?

    • @tkaibo
      @tkaibo  Před 3 měsíci +3

      Just so there isn't any confusion B1+2 doesn't have any high or mid crush properties but I understand what you're asking.
      In short, in order for the powercrush (armor) to be effective the sequence that your opponent is throwing out needs to equal 7 frames or more. Frames 1-6 will beat the powercrush.
      Example: Claudio 1,2 (+8 on hit) into DF1 (i15f) would not work because using those 8 plus frames into DF1 would make the move activate at frame 7 (15 - 8 = 7) which is right above the 6 frame threshold.
      Sorry for the long response hope this helped!

      Crush means beating moves by "evading"(we beat move by existing and its different than evading because evading is stepping moves or just movement) if
      something is low crush = jumping attack
      High crush = crouching attack
      We don't have mid crush per se but we have outliers like AOP (Phenix stance) from Ling X. and snake edge from Bryan.
      Power Crush(armor) is just powering through something rage art has hyper armor(you cannot throw person using it).
      If you want read further go to infill glossary. Hope it explains:)
