For our school company build day, we got to build a machine, company, or market. We built a plinko board out of cardboard and hot glue and we use a gyroscope and cut off the top for something under the plinko board that would spin and fall into holes that we layed out on a thick piece of styrofoam.

Looks great. I am building one for our company retreat. I'll be using scrap 3/4" plywood for the back. What do you think about using 3/8" dowels instead of screws for the spikes?

i think that would work really well. we used the screws because we had it on hand and they happen to fit into the peg holes perfectly

Hi! Can you please tell me what size screw you used? And did you have any issues with not having a plexiglass front?

i believe it was 1/4 inch carriage bolts, 5 inches long. not much of an issue since the board leans back. plexi glass just at the bottom is a good idea. that's where the pucks fall out from time to time.

looks like your pegs are wrong. Blocking the 10,000 spot

Thanks!! Yeah that should work. We used the bolts because we already had those at hand and they fit perfectly into the peg holes. The one I'll say is don't use the reflectors like we did. They ended up breaking

try putting rubber bands on the they will bounce more and might help them not break
