It’s really neat to see the process like this. The lack of breathing PPE is a bit concerning given the materials they’re grinding though.
First thing I thought of. They shouldn't be breathing that in all day every day. The shop should have a very serious ventilation system running 24/7
Oh I so want BRK yo give us another run of the Gunny Side Kick in 3V. 3V is my go to steel for the apocalypse.
I used to always think that I would never own a White handled knife- I want one now.

I was impressed with the process when Mike took me through a couple of years ago. Seeing a "close up" of the stages being performed was most impressive. Bark River knives are indeed hand crafted.Because of you (mostly), I have nine Bark River knives. My tenth has been on reserve with KSF as soon as I saw your original Gunny Sidekick. Awaiting the call from KSF; hope I can get my favorite handle Green Canvas Micarta.
my favorite part of this whole thing was the child at the end telling on Issac who was in the video lol Amazing to see how they build these knives. Im happy to have some pre orders ready to roll here soon

My funny just came in today really happy with the knife, still not sure about the sheath tho I feel like it could be better but who needs to complain lol amazing knife definitely gonna get more!

I hope they start producing some large fighters again soon. I did a pre order recently on a Squad Leader II in 3CV. Are the hollow pins threaded as well? They need a "nurse ratchet" there with a bottle of merthiolate for when the guys cut themselves.

Is your camera lens dusty or is that the air around those belt sanders? Amazing that these guys don't wear a good 3M dust respirator or similar.
Also would really like it if you could get one of these belt grinding experts to explain how to safely use these powerful machines safely, Especially the leading-edge work, without getting the knife caught and thrown back at them. Please do a video with one of them explaining how to safely use those grinders as if you were a new employee.
love watching how my favorite knives are made, a little concerned that nobody is wearing a mask however. Do you know if this was just for this video or do they usually wear protection?
I’m pretty sure most of the crew depend on mucus and cigarette smoke to keep the dust out of their lungs. Probably not optimal protocol, but true.
If it’s not too tasteless an ask, where can I get a plastic sheath? I was given one of these but can’t rock the leather.
