In defense ... of some brands that are overseas.. some do a really good job of CS. One example for me has been Kizer. They will literally replace the whole knife if necessary. (longevity - certainly always a question but they've been around for 11 years now).

Don’t knock this little gun! I had mine for 25 years or better. I have shot the gun at least 300 times and l used federal hydra shock ammo and it works great. I worked in a pawn shop for years with my family and l would use it in a minute. Aim for the head if it’s winter time!!! I always carry in my back pocket and it about the size of a cell phone. I have plenty other guns to carry ranging from 9MM to 45’s it’s my go to gun! If l’m in my house it’s a different story l will use the high cap 45 l have or my pump shot gun. There something about hearing a shot gun being engaged when it’s pumped back that would get an intruder attention!

Just bought this knife this morning before seeing your video. I bought the carbon, magnacut model of the Launch 7.

I just bought a 91 st1100 that was garage kept and serviced regularly for $1100, it came with a helmet and padded riding jacket. I felt like this was a good deal since the bike looks new and it ran. I’ve ridden it everyday for the week or so that I’ve had it and I’m having problems with the clutch not engaging. It’s intermittent but when it happens it’s kinda dangerous as I ride in heavy traffic. Is there a cheap fix for this? I would appreciate any advice.

I’ve got one and mines got the Jimmy choil upgrade, plus got the jimping Bob bearing kit fitted , now the blade opens faster than a whores legs, I’ve had it 2 years and have cut over 3000 sheets of very thin magazine papers with it , great knife.

Having hosted tours of a newspaper for schoolchildren for years, I'm somewhat familiar with paper and its grain properties. I wonder if you had tried your push cut on the long edge of the paper rather than the short edge if you would have had more luck? Great video, though, thank you.

I think I want one. It’s crazy, but the cheap feeling synthetic handles are grippier and lighter, AND won’t show rough handling. Drop an aluminum handled Microtech on a concrete floor vs this. Which one will make you more sick?!? That said, I wish it was blackened Magnacut instead. At least as tough and far less likely to rust. Of course I think THE best steel for an OTF dagger is 14C28N, but Benchmade doesn’t use it. Why? It’s as tough as 3V, very corrosion resistant, is very inexpensive, will take a wicked edge and easy to sharpen. Yes, edge retention is lacking, but this is a defensive weapon, not a daily user. You won’t be using it to dull it.

I sure wished I had bought an Anthem way back. Too much for me now.

AD-15 once you find out that little different movement it becomes literally one of the easiest knives to open and close. I open and close mine almost as if it’s just a gravity knife. Been carrying it for a little over two years.

Does clearing your voice indicate something I should pay attention to or do you have some type of condition that prevents you from talking like a normal human being. Loved your video and instruction…the voice clearing is a big distraction and is hard for me to get through the whole video. Good message and good instruction
