Were now unloading them all at their new home and have already started working on them! Most of them are numbers matching cars with many original parts! Amazing find, a real adventure for sure going thru all the parts to make them complete again. You don't have wonder about content for the channel for a long time, surprising there is still large stashes of corvettes still out there.

As always thanks for the update on these cars. For me it would be a dream just to see them. I was 8 years old in 1982. My parents took us to Bloomington Gold. I thought I was in heaven. Every 63-7 color, bodystyle,,original, and custom was there. I've loved every corvette I've ever seen until the c8. I went to see that revealed at a dealer in Illinois too! It's cool but the c7 is the top of all for me. I'm so glad that those cars found your family. All I can do is dream at this point and that's what your videos do for me....I think it's like your dad's willys you grew up with....my dad had a 64 coupe.....I still,at 48 years old,dream of that car and my uncle's 70 chevelle.....so thank you again.

For sure a project. But we’re use to it. We still have parts left over from my uncles passing. Was a huge nova guy. It took 3 semi trailers to clean out his parts collection. There’s still one trailer we never touched!

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the DEAL part of this. I mean... you didn't know for sure if some were even numbers matching or not, but somehow brought them all back... to discover 3(?) are? Dad did the deal? Which ever way this went down, the cars are definitely in the right hands now!!! Just staggering...CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!
It was a take all or take nothing deal. More of a gamble. We knew the 66 big block was a real numbers match car and that’s the car we were after. All the others being numbers match were just a bonus.

High redline tach means L76 or L84... the Rad support for a fuelie (L84) offsets the rad to the passenger side and has approx 6" hole on the drivers side for the air snorkle tube.
That one with the '63 gauges has '65-'66 side gills, but a non '63 (or no) clock. So it may be a '63 with body panels replaced from a crash or something. I haven't seen too many guys replace their later gauges with those from a '63. But anything's possible. Those snow brushes are handy into the summer months around Sault Ste Marie.
3:55 I think a lot of Corvettes were normal cars back in the day. My father's 69 L71 was his only car for the first couple of years and got driven in all weather.

Your '63 'vert with the 6,500 rpm redline tach most likely is an L76 340hp 327.

Usually 1 or maybe 2 cars in a find. Not many times do you find 6 in one spot!

Why is anyone referring to C2 Corvettes as "mid-years" anymore? Mid-year compared to what? There's now 8 generations of Corvettes so if anything, C4s would be the "mid-year" Corvettes now.
Do you know about the serial numbers that are stamped on the frame in two places are used to work in the Corvette factory in St. Louis and stamp the serial numbers on the frame I don’t ever hear this talked about when people are talking about numbers matching
Yes I did. We have saved the original frame for our 427/435 car and used another frame when we built it into a race car. That way if the car ever goes back to original we can put the matching frame back under the car! All these cars still have the original frames, but with how rusty and scaly they are it will the hard to read the stamp in the frame.

Depends, there might have been a Fairmont in the background of the video, it’s red. There was a LTD in the garage, it’s blue.
