Johnny Galecki has a special place in my heart for how sweet he was to Sarah Gilbert when she came out. And that he kept it secret for years because she didn't want anyone to know. What a great friend.
I actually met Johnny galecki back in the day. My mom worked for I believe it was his uncle. Didn't realize it was him until way later. He is a really nice guy. We were talking about the exotic fish his relative had at the office.
They have done a great job continuing the show. Rosanne apparently gave up a lot of money and rights to the show so the cast and crew could continue working. See John Goodman interview he talked about this.

Roseanne fought to have “The Connors” on air because she didn’t want cast/crew to lose their jobs because of her. No, it’s not “the same” without her, it never will be, it was better with her, she was the glue. However, it’s not a “bad” show by any means. It’s better than many of the comedies that came out this season, I’d at least give it a few episodes before throwing in the towel. The way they “killed her character off” was pretty obvious from last season- an easy write-in, and very political. I wasn’t really on board with that one. Would be really dumb to do the whole “dream sequence” again, but hey, it’s Roseanne, anything’s possible...would love to have her back again though

Those rating are better than last Man Standing on Fox. right now it is ABC's top rated series. Will the series end? I think it may but only because they need Laurie Metcalf and John Goodman and both are ready to move on. They were fine with a brief reboot. Neither wanted the series resurrected with them as regulars. Roseanne did not either.
