I agree with your choices. I've been watching this show since it first aired. These episodes show just how great it was. Hysterical/touching and always taught a lesson. Roseanne was the first woman to show what a housewife truly was like. Not some woman that wore a dress and pearls, and cleaned house all day, plus waited dutifully on her hubby and kids. She worked in and outside of her house. Loved it. The re-boot (revival) was really good. I can't wait to see Johnny Galecki again, plus learn what happened to Jackie's son. Go Roseanne!! Loved the comment 'Our whole family barks'.

Being victims of abuse was very important to Roseanne and Jackie’s backstory and represented a line that Roseanne in particular swore she would never cross. So when DJ angers her to the point where she does cross that line, she has a complete breakdown and could not apologize to enough people, including her son.

When Dan walks into Becky’s room while she’s folding laundry and dancing like no one’s watching to club music on her headphones, and she notices him and freezes, and he goes, “Can I come in or do I need a stamp on my hand…” 😂😂😂😂😂 I couldn’t have been 12 years old cracking up at that episode/part lol

Sorry I'm late to the party; just subscribed. One of my favorite moments of this show was with him; Roseanne and Dan had gotten into an argument, nothing serious. I think it was the first season. DJ was sitting at the kitchen table with Dan and asked him if they were getting a divorce. Dan told him no, and DJ said, "I hope not. I'm the only kid in my class who's parents are still married". Love that line and everything behind it.

@@dalyand5944 His best line delivery was when he had to explain to Roseanne and Dan about how he used Twinkie's to 'pay' the bodyguard (a female classmate) he had 'hired' to protect him from another kid who was bullying him at school.
Also, the scene where David moved in and DJ told him "It's about who's been here the longest, and I've put in 12 years !!" 😂🤣

I grew up with this show every week between the ages of 9-17, became a funeral director, and my Mom is now half deaf. "Dad's dead" is the stuff of legend in our home.
    Honourable mention to:
    - Roseanne's nightmare about the breast reduction which actually became an enlargement. "They were supposed to make 'em smaller!"
    - The Ghosts of Halloweens Past, Present & Future.
    - Darlene's spiral of depression, and the strain it had on the relationships with both parents as well as Becky.
    - Becky eloping. The pay phone hanging down from its cord was timeless.
    - Jackie and Roseanne's 18-wheel road trip.
    - Discovering Bonnie could sing! =)

Wait... Nothing topped Jackie's bombshell of sleeping with Arnie? Yeah, the guy was a loser, but are we forgetting how Bonnie confessed to robbing a liquor store?
I get the joke, but that was pretty powerful the way the actress who played Bonnie delivered it.
I wish we saw more of Bonnie. She was a great character.

Definitely the most real show on TV, where nothing was perfect, especially their money, and you didn't see a lot of that, hell, you still don't. There was an episode where Roseanne and Dan got into a domestic dispute, smashing things, throwing things and she eventually puts a small statue through the TV. That has ALWAYS stuck with me, very close to home.
